20 doth Discharge the s.d Charles hath as by these presents he Doth Bargain sell alien enfeoff release and Confirme unto him y.e s.d Charles Carroll and his heirs all y.t three hundred a of Land being parte of a mannor of Land called Brooke place manner formerly in y.e tenure & occupacon of Rob.t Brooke of Calv.t County af.d but was by him coveyed unto Tho.s Gray of y.e s.d Co.ty of Calv.t and Rebeccah his wife who afterwards conveyed the same to the s.d Dan.ll party to these presents scituate lyeing and being in Calv.t Co.ty af.d as also all those severall negroes Cattle & sheep herein after described (viz.t) a negroe man named Eara aged aboute twenty five yeares a negroe Man called Peter aged aboute fifteen yeares a negro man named Dan.ll seventeen yeares old a negroe boy named James ab.t seven yeares a negroe woman named Sue ab.t twenty years old a negroe woman Called Moll aboute seventeen years old a negroe woman called Lucie aboute fifteen years old an other called Fender aboute thirteen years old & a negroe Child aboute two yeares old as also thirty head neat cattle and thirty head of sheep now being on y.e tract of Land above Bargained and belonging to the s.d Dan.ll To have and To hold the same Bargained premises together with all its rights members Improvements and appurtenances whatsoever unto him the s.d Charles Carroll his heires and assis to the onely proper use & behoofe of him the said Charles and his heirs and to noe other use intent meaning or Construccon whatsoever and y.e s.d Dan.ll Jenifer doth hereby for him and his heires Covenant (promise) |
