170 of money w.ch they the said Charles Carroll & Amos Garret shall advance or Lend to him the s.d Charles Beckwith before the Last day of August w.ch shall be in the yeare of our Lord seventeen hundred & eleven w.th Legall Interest for the same untill the time afd that then this deed shall be Void and of no effect but in Case of falure of payment of the said Hundred pounds and all other moneys so as afd that may be advanced to him the said Charles Beckwith by the said Charles Carroll & Amos Garrett before the said Last day of August as afd w.th Legall Interest for the same that then the estate hereby made to them the said Charles Carroll & Amos Garrett of in & to the afd Lands negroes Cattle & sheep shall stand & remain absolute and firme w.thout Limitation Codition or Right or Redemption to whom & their heirs for ever In Wittness whereof the said parties have hereunto sett their hands & seales the day and yeare first above written Sealed and del.d in psence Cha Beckwith (seal) of us Edward Carroll Edward Coyl On the back side of the aforegoing deed was thus endorsed To M.r Mathew Beard These are to authorize & Impower you for me & in my name to acknowledge the w.thin deed according to act of assembly in that Case made & provided and for your so doing this shall be your suff.t warr.t Given under my hand & seale this 19.th day of June 1710 Sealed & deliv.d in the Cha Beckwith (sea) psence off Nich Jacob July 31.st 1710 Phil Reyly Then Came the above named Mathew Beard before Me Philemon Lloyd one of her maj.tys Justices of the prov.ll Court & persuant to the pwers above granted him acknowledged the within deed according to Law before me 766 Phile Lloyd |
