       severall pcells of Land being parts of a Certaine tract of
       Land Cont.a about five thousand seven hundred acres & originally
       Taken up by Cap.t W.m Hawley and Lying in S.t Maries County
       one of the parts afd being that pcell of Land whereon
       the said Charles Beckwith now Liveth and Containes Two
       hundred acres or thereabouts the other part being a parcell of
       the said Great Tract heretofore purchased fo By William Guyther
       from Thomas Williams and by the said Guyther made over
       to the sd Beckwith Containing Likewise two hundred acres
       more or Less Togeather w.th all the houses plantations fencing
       orchards & to y.e s.d two tracts belonging or in any wise appertaining
       as also three Negro slaves (Viz.t) Jack aged twenty six
       yeares Kate about Thirty five yeares and Eliz.a daughter to
       the said Kate about nine year old now in the poss.n of y.e
       s.d Charles and likewise Twenty head of Cattle none under
       one year old seventeen old sheep & ten Lambs now being upon
       the dwelling plantacon of the said Charles Beckwith
       To have and to hold the said two srall tracts of Land w.th
       the aboves.d Negroes Cattle and sheep unto them the said
       Charles Carroll and Amos Garrett to be equally divided between
       them and their heires for ever to the only proper
       use and behooffe of them the said Charles and Amos their
       heirs and assignes for ever and to no other intent meaning
       or purpose whatsoever and the said Charles Beckwith for
       him and his heires doth Covenant promise grant & agree
       to and with them the said Charles and Amos their heires
       & assignes that he the said Charles Beckwith and his heires
       shall and will from time to time and at all times for ever
       hereafter warrant and defend the said two severall Tracts of
       Land negroes Cattle and sheep above specified w.th all other
       the premises and appurtenances and every part & percell
       of them the the s.d Charles and Amos against all manner of
       psons Claiming any Right title or Interest to the abovesaid
       Tracts of Land negroes Cattle and sheep in any manner of wise
       whatsoever  Provided all ways and it is the true Intent &
       meaning of these presents that In Case the said Charles
       Beckwith his heires ex.rs or adm.rs shall well & truly pay
       or Cause to be paid to them the said Charles Carroll & Amos
       Garrett their executors administrators or assignes the abovesaid
       sum of one hundred pounds as also all other sume or sums
