       by these presents further ^for^ himself his heires ex.rs and adm.rs
       Covenant promise grant & agree to and w.th him the said Charles
       Carroll his heires and assignes that the said Tracts & pcells of Land &
       premises above granted unto him the said Charles Carroll his heires
       and assignes against all Manner of persons whatsoever he
       will for ever warrant & defend by these presents  Provided
       allways & it is the true Intent & meaning of these presents that if
       he the said Jn.o Martin his heires ex.rs or ad.rs shall or will well & truly
       pay or Cause to be paid unto the above named Charles Carroll his
       ex.rs ad.rs or assignes the Just & full sum of forty nine pounds
       nine shill ster being the moyety or half part of the said Consideracon
       Money at or upon the first day of Aprill next with Legall Interest
       for the whole Consideracon money as also at or upon the first day
       of Aprill then next following the other remaining part of the s.d
       Consideracon money w.th Legall Interest for the same that then
       this deed & all articles Clauses & Covenants therein Contained are
       to be null Void and of no effect otherwise to remaine absolute and
       in full force & Virtue  In Wittness whereof the said parties have
       hereunto Interchangably set their hands & seales the day & year

                                  On the back of the aforegoing deed was Indorsed
                                  as foll.o Viz.t

                   Aug.t the 20.th 1709
       To M.r Wornell Hunt or any other of the attorneys of the prov.ll Court
       These are to Impower and authorize you or any of you to acknowledge the
       within deed for me & in my name ask according to to an act of assembly in
       that Case made & prov^id^ed & for your so doing this shall be y.r warr.t given und.r my
       hand & seale the day & yeare above written
