       assignes for ever all that those three severall Tracts or
       pcells of Land herein after described (Viz.t) all that tract or
       pcell of Land Called and Known by the name of Leafs forrest &
       Containing two hundred acres more or Less one other Called by the
       name of Martins Risq Containing ninety three acres
       of Land more or Less and Lastly all that tract of Land Called
       Timber Ridge and Containing three hundred acres more or
       less all w.ch said tracts & pcells of Land are scituate lying and
       being in Baltemore County afd on the south side of the River of
       Pattapscoe and Contigious one to the other (Timber Ridge
       Excepted) w.ch lyes some small distance from the others Togeather
       with all persons and singular the houses out houses tob.o houses
       rights members and appurtences whatsoever to the said Tract
       of Land any or Either of them belonging or in any wise appertaining
       To have and to hold the said Tracts and pcells of Land
       and every of them with their and every of their appurtenances
       unto him the said Charles Carroll his heires and assignes for
       Ever to and for the only proper Use and behooffe of him y.e s.d
       Charles Carroll his heires and assignes for ever and to no
       other Use Intent meaning purpose or Construction whatsoever
       and the said John doth hereby for himself his heires Ex.rs &
       adm.rs Covenant pmise grant and agree to and w.th him the
       said Charles his heires and assignes that the said tracts of
       land and Every of them with the appurtenances above
       granted are at the time of the Ensealing and delivery of
       these presents Clear of and from all and all manner of
       Incumbrances whatsoever whether by former bargaines
       sales or allienacons of the said tracts of Land or any parte thereof
       of by statutes Judgments recognizances forfeitures or attainders
       of him the said John or by any other ways or meanes
       whatsoever save only the Quitt Rents hereafter to grow due
       to the Right hon.ble the Lord Propry  And the said Jn.o doth
