708) This Indenture made this Twenty Ninth day of October in the first year of our sovereigne Lady the Queen Anne over the Kingdome of England Scotland France and Ireland Annoq.r Dm 1702 Between Thomas Cassey of Cecill County planter of the one parte and phillip Lynes of Charles County in the province of Maryland Merch.t of the other parte wittnesseth that the said Cassey for and in Consideration of the sume of Seaventeene thousand pounds of Tobacco to him in hand paid before the Insealing and Delivery hereof by the said Phillip Lynes the receipt whereof hee doth hereby acknowledge and thereof Doth Clearly acquitt the said Phillip Lynes as alsoe for divers other good Causes and Considerations him hereunto moveing hath bargained sold aliened Inffeofed and Confirmed and by these presents hee the said Carssey Doth bargaine sell alliene Infeoff and Confirme unto the said phillip Lynes all the said pcell or tract of land lyeing and being in Cecill County Called Kapagh lying in new Ireland begining at a bounded spanish Oake on a high Banck over the Maine Fresh of Christene Creeke all whose Right title and Intrest of and in and to the Same one Edmond Edgor hath assigned and made over to the said Thomas Cassey untill it Comes where the said Fresh Turnes away East and makes a samall Round Cove aboute halfe a Mile to the Northward of the Maintaine Called Ezenburg alias (Ireon) |
