       Memd.m y.t this Twenty fifth day of Jan.ry in y.e year of our Lord God
       1706 Came before me Thomas Greenfield one of her Majestys
       Just.s of y.e pv.ll Co.rt for the pvince of Maryland y.e w.thin named
       Geo spicer & acknowledged the w.thin writing to be his act &
       Deed & y.t the seven hundred acres of Land & p.rmisses w.thin
       Mentioned to be y.e Right of the w.thin named Josh^^u^a Cecell
       his heirs & assignes forever & at the same time Came
       before me Mary spicer the wife of the said George
       spicer & she being by me secretly Examined out of
       the hearing of her s.d husband did freely and
       Voluntarily & of her own accord & w.thout any fear or
       threats of her said husband Give up all her right title
       Dowry Claime & Demand whatsoever y.t she now hath
       or might have of & in the afd 700 acres of Land
       w.thin menconed & p.rmisses & acknowledged the said
       Land to be y.e Records of the pv.ll Co.rt for y.e uses
       w.thin menconed  In testimony whereof I have hereunto
       subscribed my name y.e day & year above
       Written   Annoq Dni 1706
