                This Indenture made the six and twentieth day of Aprill in the year of our
       Lord one thousand six hundred Ninty & Nine Between Thomas Beale of Ann Arundel County
       M.rchant of the one parte and Henry Bonner of y.e said County Gent of other parte Wittnesseth
       that Whereas the Right hono.ble Charles Lord Baron of Baltemore absolute Lord and Proprietary of
       the provinces of Maryland and Avalone &c by his Letters pattents beareing date the tenth day
       of October one thousand six hundred Eighty six did Grant unto y.e Said Henry Bonner a Certaine tract of
       Land Called Bonners Purchase lying in Baltemore County and surveyed for five hundred [illegible]
       Begining at a Bounded Read Oake standing at the end of the north west line of the land [illegible]
       Broome Bloome and runing peralel with the said Land North East two hundred perches [illegible]
       runing North West four hundred perches then runing south west Two hundred perches [illegible]
       more or lesse And whereas the s.d Henry has heretofore Conveyed unto one Nicholas Water [illegible]
       hundred Acres out of the eastermost parte of the s.d tract by Certaine bounds As by the said [illegible]
       deed relacon being thereunto laid may more at Large appear Now therefore these p.rsents Wittnesseth
       that y.e s.d Henry Bonner for and in Consideracon of the quantity of Eight thousand [illegible]
       of tobacco to him in hand paid by the s.d Thomas the Receipt whereof ^he^ the s.d Henry doth [illegible]
       acknowledg and of Every parte and parcell thereof doth fully acquitt Exonerate and discharge
       the said Thomas his heirs Ex.rs and adm.rs Hath Given Granted bargaind sould Aliend enfeoffed and
       Confirmed As by these presents he doth Give Grant Bargain Sell Allien enfeof and Confirme
       unto him y.e s.d Thomas Beale all that the remaining parte of the s.d tract of land Called [illegible]
       purchase Begining where the s.d Watermans Ends and encluding all the residue thereof [illegible]
       three hundred Acres of land more or less To Have and To Hold the remaining part of the tract
       of land with all the dwelling houses out houses tobacco houses fences and all their apurtenances
       whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining unto him the s.d Thomas Beale his
       heires and assignes for ever To the only proper use of him the s.d Thomas Beale his heirs and assignes
       and to no other use intent or purpose whatsoever And y.e said Henry Bonner for himself
       his heirs doth hereby Covenant promise Grant and agree to and with the s.d Thomas Beale and his
       heirs that he y.e s.d Henry Boner shall at all times from henceforth and from time to time [illegible]
       and discharge or Otherwise save harmeless As well the s.d Thomas Beale as also all the [illegible]
       tenements and hereditam.ts before recited and all other the said premisses before mentioned to
       be bargaind or sould or Conveyed As afd with the Apurtenances and every parte and parcell
       thereof and from all former bargaines sales Joyntures Dowers titles of Dowers Statutes [illegible]
       Recognizances Execucon Rent Charges Arrearages of Rent forfeitures and all other [illegible]
       and Incumbrances whatsoever had made or done at any time before the sealing and delivery of
       these presents by him the s.d Henry Bonner or by any other pson or psons whatsoever
       And the s.d Henry Bonner doth covenant to and with y.e s.d Thomas Beale that he y.e s.d
       Henry Bonner his heirs & assignes and every of them shall and will from time to time and at all times
       hereafter during the space and terme of five yeares now next ensuing the day of y.e date [illegible]
       doe make Acknowledge suffer and execute or Cause to be done acknowledged suffered & executed and
       every further Act other act & acts thing and things assureance & Conveyances whatsoever [illegible]
       by the s.d Thomas Beale his heires and assignes or his or their Councill learned in the Law to
       be from time to time reasonably devised or advised for the further and better assurance [illegible]
       sure makeing of all and singular the premisses hereby intended to be bargaind & sold And [illegible]
       the s.d Henry Bonner doth for himselfe and his heires Covenant Grant and Agree to and
