802 (783 The first originally laid out for six hundred Acres The second for nine hundred Acres And the Third for fifteen hundred Acres Originally Granted to Leonard Calvert Esq.r as also A mannor of Land Called Kentfort Mannor lying upon y.e Island of Kent as alsoe another Trat of Land Called Doynes Track lying in Charles County and Containing four hundred and fifty acres together w.th two hundred acres adjoyning thereunto but seperatly taken up as in and by y.e said Deed of Indenture relacon being thereunto had it may at large appeare And whereas all y.e s.d Mannors and Lands were soe as afores.d bargained and sold to the said John Craycraft only for y.e securing of y.e s.d three hundred and twenty four pounds ster to y.e s.d John Craycraft as in and by a Certaine Instrument of Defeasance Executed by y.e s.d John Craycraft bearing even date with y.e said Deed of Indenture it may Appeare And whereas y.e s.d three hundred twenty and four pounds have not puntually been p.d to y.e s.d Craycraft according to the times limmited in y.e said Instrument of Defeasance whereby y.e Estate of y.e s.d John Craycroft became absolute And whereas Now y.e s.d Phillip Lynes has fully satisfied and paid unto y.e said John Craycroft as well the said three hundred twenty four pounds ster Alsoe all Intrest due and payable for y.e same Together with all costs and Damages sustained by y.e said John Craycraft for want of y.e due paym.t thereof at y.e times Appointed the Reciept whereof he y.e said John Craycroft Doth hereby Acknowledge and Confesse and thereof and of every parte and parcell thereof doth hereby exonerate acquitt and discharge him the said Phillip Lynes He the s.d John Crarycroft in consideracon thereof doth hereby Bargaine Sell Reconvey Alien Enfeoff and Confirm unto him the s.d Phillip Lynes All y.e afores.d Lands & Mannors w.th all and singular their Appurtenances in as full large and ample Mannor as y.e s.d Php and Margaret his wife by their s.d Deed of Indenture Conveyed and made over the same unto him y.e said John Craycroft To have and To hold the same unto him the said Phillip Lynes his heires and Assignes for ever as of his or theire former Estate therein and To y.e only prop use and behoofe of y.e said Phillip Lynes his heires & Assignes for ever In wittness whereof y.e said parties have hereunto sett their hand and seals y.e Day and Year first above written Jo.n Craycroft (sealed) Sealed and D.d in y.e p.rsence of Recorded May y.e 31.st 1697 Jo.n Hammond Jo.n Pollard May y.e 26.th 1697 Then came before us y.e within named Jo.n Charles Carroll Craycroft and Acknowledged y.e within Deed According to Law And Declared his Consent that y.e Deede of Mortgage within menconed to be made to him by y.e within named Phillip Lynes and Margarett his wife be vacated upon Record Jn.o Hammond Recorded as aboves.d Jn.o Pollard This Indenture made the twenty seaventh Day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand six hundred ninty & seaven Betweene Phillip Lynes of Charles County and Margarett his Wife of the one parte and Gabriel Parrott of Ann Arrundell County Merchant of the other parte Wittnesseth that for and in Consideracon of the full and just sume of five hundred pounds Lawfull money of England to him y.e s.d Phillip Lynes & Margarett his Wife or one of them in hand p.d by y.e said Gabriell Parrott at & before the Ensealing & Delivery of of these p.rsents the receipt whereof y.e said Phillip Lynes and Margarett his Wife doe hereby Acknowledge and themselves to be thereof and therewith fully satisfied & thereof and of Every parte thereof doe Clearly Exonerate acquitt and discharge him y.e said Gabriell Parrott his heires Ex.rs & Admin.rs and Every of them for ever by these p.rsents They y.e s.d Phillip Lynes and Margarett his Wife have granted bargained sould Aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed as by these p.rsents they doe grant Bargain Sell Alien Enfeoff and Confirm unto y.e s.d Gabriell Parrott and his heires All that Parcell of Town Land lying nearest Together about y.e forte of S.t Maryes And comonly Called y.e Govern.rs field bounding on the west with S.t Georges River & on the North w.th S.t Maryes Bay on |
