381 (372 the East side of S.t Georges and bounding on the North with S.t Inagoes Creek on the South with the mouth of Trinity Creek called the back Creek and a line drawne from the northermost head of the said branch to the Southermost bitt of a branch in S.t Inagoes Creek called S.t Lukes Creek (where the Mannor of Cornwallis crosse lyes) Containing by esteemation Two thousand acres or thereabouts alsoe that one Island lyeing on the west side of the mouth of S.t Georges River called or known by the name of S.t Georges Island conteyning by estimation One thousand Acres or thereabouts All which said severall parcells of land Lands and premises in Maryland aforesaid were late or heretofore in the tenure and occupation of Cuthbert Fenwick gent his Assignes or undertenants All those two parcells of Land lyeing and being in Charles County late or heretofore in the occupation of Thomas Matthews gent or his Assignes all that parcell of Forrest Land called S.t Thomas his Mannour lyeing on the North side of Potomake River neere a Creek formerly called Portobaccoe Creek but now S.t Thomas Creek and bounding on the East with the said Creek on the north with Potomack River on the west with a Creek in the said River formerly called Morgans Creek but now S.t Raphaels Creek on the South with a line drawne east from a branch of the said Creek called S.t Isadores branch untill it fall in to S.t Thomas Creek conteyning by estimation Three thousand and Five hundred Acres be the same more or lesse And alsoe all that parcell of land by order of the Provinciall Court resurveyed for the said Henry Warrent lyeing and being in Charles County aforesaid on the East side of the said S.t Thomas Creek otherwise Portobacco Creek Begining att a bounded Oak standing att the mouth and North side of a branch called S.t Nicholas branch otherwise the Hare branch bounding on the west by the aforesaid S.t Thomas Creek and runing as the said Creek runeth for three hundred and Eighty two perches to a bounded Locust tree standing on a point called the Fort point att the mouth of a branch called S.t Mathews bounded on the North by an arme of the said branch lyeing nearest East from the mouth of the said branch and runing Easterly up an acme of the said branch two hundred and seaventy six perches unto a bounded white Oak att the head thereof and from the said Oak bounded on the East by a line drawne South till it Intersect an east line drawne from the head of S.t Nicholas branch unto the first bounded tree Conteyning by esteemation Five hundred Acres be the same more or lesse all which said last mentioned Lands being laid together into a Manno.r is now called or knowne by the name of S.t Thomas Mannour together with the Court Leet and Court Baron thereunto belonging And alsoe |
