297 (287 Thompson his heires executors adm.rs and Assignes for ever In verity and truth whereof I have hereunto set my hand and fixed my seale This Twelfth day of August An.o 1684 Signed sealed and delivered in the R Boughton presence of us Edm Dennis Cleborne Lomax Endorsed This Twelfth day of August An.o 1684 Came Richard Boughton before us and acknowledged his right title and interest clayme and demannd in and to the within Two tracts of land and premisses In testimony whereof wee have hereunto set our hands the day and yeare aforesaid and the within menconed deed to be his Act and deed Comissioners in Quorum of Charles County Henry Addamds Ignatius Causine Recorded this First day of September Annoq Dm 1684 p Tho Grunwin Clk This Indenture made the third day of August in the Eight year of the Dominion of the Right Hono.ble Charles Absolute Lord and Prop.ry of the Provinces of Maryland & Avalon Lord Barron of Baltemore &c Annoq Domj One Thousand six hundred Eighty & three Between George Yate of An Arrundale County in the Province of Maryland of the one part and Abraham Burd of the County and Province aforesaid on the other part Wittnesseth that the said George Yate In Consideration of Three Thousand pounds of Good Tobacco and Casque to Him in hand paid before the Ensealing and delivery of these presents by the said Abraham Burd the Receipt whereof the said George Yate doth hereby acknowledge and thereof doth acquitt and discharge the said Abraham Burd his heires Executors and Assignes by these presents and for other good causes him thereunto moveing Hath given granted and aliend Bargained sold Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these presents Doth absolutely give grant Bargaine alien sell Enfeoffe and Confirme unto the said Abraham Burd his heires and assignes for Ever All that parcell of Land called the Burds flight lyeing in the Freshes of Potuxen River on the west side of the North Branch of the said River and on the East side of a parcell of Land called Swanstons Lott and a part of a Tract of Land Granted the said George Yate called Padworth farme Containing six hundred acres as P pattent for the same Clearing date July 9.th Anno 1681 appeares at at Large Begining at a bounded white oake of the Land of Josias Fendall being the westermost Bounds of the west and besouth Line Running East and by North one hundred & sixty pearches then North Norwest one hundred and foure perches then West and by south to the Land of Francis Swanston and with the said Land to the first bounded Tree Containing one hundred acres more or Less Together with all priveledges proffites and benifitts thereunto belonging or in any wayes appertaining To have & to hold all and singullar the Bargained premisses within the aforementioned premises bounds unto the aforesaid Abraham Burd his heires and Assignes for and to the use of him the said Abraham Burd and his heires for Ever And the said George Yate for himself his heires Exec Administrators &c doth further Covenant and Grant to and with the said Abraham Burd his heires and assignes that he the said George Yate his heires Executors & Administrators and Every of them the said parcell of Land and all other the aforementioned premisses unto him the said Abraham Burd his heires Executors Administrators & assignes and Every of them against all manner of persons whatsoever Lawfully Clayming or to Clayme by from or under him the said George Yate or his heires or his or their or Either of their act of Estate shall and will warrant and for Ever hereafter defend by these p.rsents |
