295 (285 Together with the Rights members and appurtennces to the same belonging or apperteyning And also the Reversion and Reversions remainder and remainders Rents and yearly proffitts of the same Excepting and alwayes reserving unto the said Lord prop.ry and his heires All and all manner of Royall mines which are or shall be at any time or times hereafter found to be in or upon the premisses or any part thereof To have and to hold the said tract of land and premisses with the Rights members and appurtennces (Royall mines excepted) unto his Lorpps most deare Consort the Lady Jane Baltemore and her heires for ever To the severall uses following (that is to say) To the use of his most deare Consort during the terme of her naturall life without Impeachm.t of or for any manner of wast And from and after her decease Then to the use of her sonne Nicholas Sewall and of the heires males of his body lawfully begotten and to be begotten and for default of such issue Then to the use of Susanna Sewall the wife of the said Nicholas Sewall and her heires and assignes for ever To be holden of the honour of west S.t Maries in Free and Comon Soccage by Fealty onely for all manner of services At the yearly rent of Forty shillings sterling Which said Tract was Erected by the said Lres pattents into a Mannor and called by the name of Charles Guift And whereas it is in and by the said ^writed^ Lres pattents Declared That his said Lorpps deare Consort the Lady Jane Baltemore is by the Lawes of the said province in full and absolute Capacity (as she is thereby by his Lorpp declared to be) To purchase or take any Grannt or Grannts of lands or hereditaments within the said province to her owne use and to Convey and dispose of the same at her owne will & pleasure as a feme sole may doe Now know yee That the said Jane Barronesse of Baltemore For and in Consideracon of the naturall live and affeccon which she hath and beareth unto her most deare sonne The hono.ble Nicholas Sewall Esq.r Hath remised released and quite claymed and by these presents And Doth fully freely clearly and absolutely remise release and quite clayme unto the said Nicholas Sewall and Susanna his wife and their heires now in Actuall possession of the premisses To the severall uses in and by the said Lady Jane Baltemore hath or doth clayme of and in and unto the said Two thousand acres of land called the Mannor of Charles guift by vertue of the said recited Lres pattents or by any title meanes or wayes whatsoever soe that the said Lady Jane Baltemore of and from the said Mannor and Lands and the appurtennces to the said Mannor and lands belonging And of and from all Right title possession of in and to the same is and shall be utterly debarred and for ever excluded by these presents In witnes whereof the said Lady Jane Baltemore hath hereunto put her hand and seale The seaven & twentieth day of Aprill In the Nineth yeare of the Dominion of the said Charles Lord and prop.ry of the said province of Maryland &c Sealed and delivered in the pnce Jane Baltemore of Henry Darnall I doe Consent to the within Release & ord.r W.m Digges the same to be Recorded in the sec.ryes Tho Grunwin office C Baltemore 27 Aprill 1684 Ent.rd upon Reccord This 19.th day of May Annoq Dm 1684 p Tho Grunwin Clk |
