293 (283 them and their heires That they will warrant to the said Henry and John and the heires of the said Henry for ever The premisses aforesaid with the appurtennces against his said Lorpp and the Lady Jane and the heires of her the said Lady Jane for To the onely use within menconed and declared And for noe other use intent or purpose whatsoever And for this his Lorpp hath given as within is mentioned and exprest &c C Baltemore Let his deed be recorded in the Sec.ryes Jane Baltemore office Nicholas Sewall Edward Pye The aforegoeing deed and Endorsement was Entred upon Record This First day of May Annoq Dm 1684 P Tho Grunwin Clk Maryland fs To all Christian people to whome this present writing indented shall come Thomas Gerard of S.t Maries County in the province of Maryland Gent sendeth Greeting in our Lord god everlasting Know yee That I the said Thomas Gerard for and in Consideracon of the greate love good will and tender affecon which I have and beare unto Gerard Helgar sonne of Thomas and Anne Helgar And also for the future and better mainteynance of the said Gerard Helgar when he shall arrive at the yeares of Eighteen Have given grannted and confirmed And by these presents doe fully freely and clearely Give grannt and Confirmed unto William Niefinger Robert Toale Samuel Cooksey In speciall trust and confidence To and for the sole use and behoofe of him the said Gerrard Helgar when he shall attaine The Age of Eighteen yeares as aforesaid All that parcell of land lying at the head of Wicocomoco River in S.t Maries County called The Meadows begining at a marked oake The bound tree of west wood Mannor standing neer the Creeke in the said River called westwood Creeke bounding on the East with the said Creeke and Marsh on the South and west with a Greate Marsh That belongeth to another Creeke in the said River called the Herring Creeke to a bounded oake on the North with a line drawne East from the said oake being the Exterior lyne of westwood Mannor for the length of one hundred and fifty perches to the first bounded oake Conteyning and layd out for Foure hundred acres more or lesse Together with all houses ediffices buildings orchards Gardens timber and timber trees wayes easements proffitts Comodities and appurtennces whatsoever to the same belonging or in any wise apperteyning Together with all pattents Deeds writings and Imminuments whatsover touching or concerning the same To have and to hold the aforesaid plantacon and parcell of land with all and singuler the houses ediffices and appurtennces whatsoever on the same plantacon being or to the same apperteyning unto them the said William Neifinger Robert Toate and Samuel Cooksey in trustees and for the use of the said Gerard Helgar when he shall be Eighteene yeares of Age as aforesaid and from thenceforth to be and remaine to the onely proper use and behoofe of him the said Gerard Helgar and his heires for ever But if the said Gerard Helgar should happen to dye before he should come to the age of Twenty one yeares Then the said Land shall returne to me the aforesaid Thomas Gerard if it shall be then living unlesse the said Anne Helgar shall have another Child begotten of her body by the said Thomas Helgar Then such Child to Inherit the same And the said Thomas Gerard for my self my heires execut.rs and adm.rs Doe hereby Covenant to and with the said William Niefinger Robert Toate Samuell Cooksey Feoffed as aforesaid That it shall and may be lawfull to and for the said Thomas Helgar and Anne his wife from and after the First day of May now next ensuing into and upon the hereby given premisses |
