       to their own proper use & uses & the use & uses above expressed & Conteyned in this p.rsent Indenture
       & the said William Sharp for himself his heires & Assignes doth further grant agree & Contract to
       & with the said Francis Billingsly Richard Johns John Pardo & William Harris their heires & Assignes
       ^that by vertue thereof it shall be Lawfull for them their heires & assignes^ from time to time & att all times to possesse & peaceably & quiettly hold Inioy & Inheritt the said
       acre & half of Land with all & singular the aforesaid proffitts & priveledges without the Lett
       suit trouble vexation Mollestation or any other trouble or Incumbrance of from or by him the
       said William Sharp his heires & Assignes or any other person or persons Claiming any
       Interest thereunto by from or under him or them & the said William Sharp for himself his
       heires & Assignes doth further Covenant by these presents that he will from time ^to time^ warrant
       & defend them the said Francis Billingsly Richard Johns John Pardo & William Harris
       their heirs & Assignes of & from all & all manner of former sales Contracts Bargaines &
       Covenants formerly made to any person or persons whatsoever & also against him his heires
       & Assignes & all persons Claiming by from him or them & Lastly he the said William Sharp
       doth Covenant grant & agree on behalfe of himself his heires & Assignes to & with the said
       Francis Billingsly Richard John John Pardo & William Harris their heires & Assignes that
       att any time within the space of seven yeares at the desire & reasonable request or the maior
       part of them the said Francis Billingsly Richard Johns John Pardo & William Harriss their
       heires or assignes he will make & Confirme such further Assurance or assurances be it by fine or
       other waies as Reasonably may be advised or devised by Learned Councill in the Law it being
       alwaies taken & agreed to be done at the proper Charge & Cost of them the said Francis Billingsly
       Richard Johns John Pardo & William Harris their heires & Assignes & that the said Further settlement
       if any be shall alwaies be adjudged taken & Consused to be & Inured to no other purpose end or
       use whatsoever but only to the end use & uses above expressed & limitted & if any be it shall
       by vertue hereof be taken adiudged & deemed to be null & void in Wittness whereof the said
       William Sharp have hereunto putt his hand & seale the day & yeer above written Annoq Dom 1653
       Sealed & Delivered in the presence of us

                   On the backside of the foregoing deed was thus written

       The within Indenture was acknowledged by William Sharp this fifth day of November 1683 before us

       Know all men by these presents that I William Carpender of the Citty of Bristoll Merchant have
       made ordeyned Constituted & by these presents do make ordeyne constitute & appoint my trusty & well
       beloved friend Edward Sweatnam of Kent County my true & Lawfull Attorny for me & in my name & for
       my use to ask demand & receive all & all maner of Debt or Debts sume or sumes of Money & tobacco
       whatsoever due to me the said W.m Carpender in the Province of Maryland or Collony of Virginnia
       Either by bill bond account or any other way whatsoever from any p.rson or p.rsons Indebted to me as aforesaid
       & upon non payment thereof the said p.rson or p.rsons so Indebted their Executo.rs or Adm.rs to sue arrest
       imprison implead & prosecute for the same & upon such suit to proceed to Judgment & Execution &
       thereupon the said p.rson or p.rsons their Executors & Adm.rs in prison to hold & keep untill payment
       of the same And upon payment thereof the said p.rson or p.rsons their Execut.rs & Adm.rs forth of
       prison to discharge & acquittances for the same or any part thereof for me & in my name to make
       se^a^ll & deliver & also to do performe & Execute all & every other Lawfull & reasonable Acts & things
       whatsoever both for obteyning & discharging of the same as shall be needfull to be done
       giveing & by these presents granting unto my said Attorny my full & absolute power in the
       premises & one or more Attorny or Attorneyes under him att any time to Constitute & putt & the
       same againe at his will & pleasure to revoke Ratefying & holding firme & all & whatsoever my
       said Attorny shall Lawfully doe or Cause to be done in or about the premisses by vertue of these
