272) 282 This Indenture Made the third day of March in the fifth yeer of the Dominion of the right Hono.ble Charles Absolute Lord & Prop.ry of the provinces of Maryland & Avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &c And in the yeer of Our Lord God one Thousand six hundred eighty one Betweene Robert Masson of S.t Maryes County in the province of Maryland Merchant of the One part & John Baker of the City of S.t Maries in the said province of Maryland Inholder of the other part Wittnesseth that whereas William Guyther of S.t Maries County in the province of Maryland By his Certaine writing or deed of Bargaine & sale under his hand & seale bearing date the tenth day of Aprill in the second Yeer of the Dominion of Charles absolute Lord & Prop.ry of the provinces of Maryland & Avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore Annoq Dom one thousand six hundred seventy & seven & made between William Guither of S.t Maries County In the province of Maryland on the one part & Robert Masson of the same County & province of the other part hath for the Consideration therein mentioned Given granted bargained aliened sold enfeoffed & Confirmed And by these presents Did fully Cleerely & absolutely give grant bargaine Alien sell enfeoff & Confirme unto him the said Robert Mason his heires & Assignes for ever all that parcell or tract of Land comonly called & known by the name of Broad neck in S.t Maryes hundred in the County aforesaid being bounded as followeth beginning upon point of the west side of the Beave.r Swamp from a marked hickory & runing up the maine branch of the said swamp unto y.e outward Lyne of the said William Guythers and runing north along the said outward Lyne to the head of the main branch of the Muddy pond & down the said branch of the Muddy pond unto a marked red Oake & runing by the Muddy pond from the marked red Oak to the first mentioned tree a marked Hickory with every part or parcell of Land that Lyes betwixt the Line of M.r Thomas Griffin & the lie of M.rs Eliz Decest conteyning & then Laid out for two hundred Acres more or Lesse Together with all & singular the rights & benefitts thereunto belonging or in any wise Concerning the premisses or any part or parcel of them with all houses Edifices buildings orchards & gardens whatsoever thereunto belonging with all & singular the rights members Jurisdictions & priveledges profitts or benefitts apperteyning or belonging thereunto To have & to hold the said tract or parcell of Land & all & singular the bargained premises unto him the said Robert Masson his heires & Assignes for ever as in & by the said recited writting or deed of bargaine & sale relation being thereunto had more att Large itt doth & may appear Now this Indenture Further wittnesseth that the said Robert Mason for & in Consideration of the sume of fourteen thousand pounds of good sound & every way well conditioned Merch.able tobacco & Casque to containe the same to him in hand well & truly paid by the said John Baker att & before the ensealing & delivery of these presents the receipt whereof the said Robert Masson doth hereby acknowledge & himself therewith fully satisfyed contented & paid & thereof & of every part thereof Doth cleerly acquitt exonerate & discharge the said John Baker his heires Executo.rs Adm.rs & Assignes & every of them by these presents hath given granted aliened bargained sold enfeoffed & Confirmed & by these presents doth fully cleerly & absolutely give grant allien bargaine sell enfeoffe & Confirme unto the said John Baker his heires & Assignes for ever All that the abovementioned parcell or Tract of Land comonly called or known by the name of broad neck lying in S.t Maries hundred in the County aforesaid bounding as aforesaid & Conteyning and Laid out for two hundred acres of Land be the same more or lesse Together with all Messuages Tenements dwelling houses yards barnes stables outhouses ediffices buildings tobacco houses backsides gardens & Orchards with their & every of their appurtenances with all Rights members proffitts priveledges Jurisdictions & benefitts to the same belonging or in any wise apperteyning And all timbers & timber trees waies passages woods underwoods fences rents easments Commodities heriditaments & Appurtenances whatsoever to the said parcell or tract of Land Messuages Tenements dwelling houses yards gardens & Orchards belonging or in any wise Apperteyning or accepted reputed taken demised used occupied or Inioyed as part parcell or member thereof and the Reversion & Reversions Remainder & remainders Issues & proffitts whatsoever of all & singular the before mentioned |
