       their heires or Assignes or any other person or persons clayming by from or under him them or
       any of them or by his or their meanes right title Consent privity or procurem.t The Rents and
       services which from henceforth from time to time for or in respect of the p.rmisses shall growe due and
       payable to his Cheife Lord or Lords of the Fee of the p.rmisses only excepted & foreprized) And
       further the said Philip Calvert and Jane his wife for themselves their heires Executo.rs and
       Adminstrs doe Covent promise grant and agree to & w.th the said John Pitt his heires Executo.rs
       & Assignes by these p.rsents that the said Philip Calvert & Jane his wife their heires & Assignes
       and all & every other person or persons & their heires lawfully haveing or clayming or
       Rightfully p.rtending to have or which shall or may hereafter have or clayme or rightfully
       p.rtend to have any estat right title interest or demand into or out of the p.rmisses or any
       part or parcell thereof by from or under the said Philip Calvert and Jane his wife their heires
       or Assignes either or any of them shall & will from time to time & att all times for and dureing
       the Space of Three yeares next ensueing the day of these p.rsents att and upon the reasonable
       request of the said John Pitt his heires or Assignes and att his or their costs & charges in the
       law make doe performe acknowledge Execute and suffer or cause to be made done acknowledged
       performed Executed or suffered all & every such further lawfull Act & Acts thing and things
       Devise & Devises Assureance & Assureances & Conveyances in the law for the better and more
       perfect Assureance & suremakeing of the said lands and p.rmisses to the said John Pitt his heires
       and Assignes for Ever soe as they shall not be compelled to goe above tenn Miles from the
       place of their aboad as the said John Pitt his heires or Assignes his or their Councell
       learned in the law shalbe reasonably devised advised or required In testimony
       whereof the partys hereunto have interchangeably sett to their hands and seales the

       Tho Burford         viz.t

       Memorand that this sixth day of March in the seaventh year of the Dominion of Charles absolute
       Lord & Prop.ry of the Provinces of Maryland & Avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &c Annoq.r Dne 1681 Came
       before us Vincent Lowe & William Digges Esq.rs two of his Lopps Justices of the Prov.ll Court to the honoble
       Philip Calvert Esq.r & Jane his wife partyes to the within written Indenture in their proper persons And
       the said Jane being by us alone & secretly examined according to the forme of a certaine Act of Assembly
       in that Case made and Provided did acknowledge the land in the within written Indenture menconed to be
       the Right of him the within named John Pitt as those w.ch the said John hath of the Guift of the said Philip
       & Jane And the said Philip & Jane for them and their heires & the heires of the said Jane have remised
       & quitt claymed the p.rmisses w.thin menconed to the said John Pitt & his heires for Ever And
       further the sayd Philip & Jane have granted for them & their heires & the heires of the said Jane that
       the said land w.thin menconed unto him the said John Pitt & his heires against the s.d Philip & Jane
       & their heires & every the heires of the said Jane they will warrant and defend for Ever And for
       this acknowledgem.t Remise quitt clayme & agreem.t the said John Pitt hath given to the said
