(103) 112 the said yearly rent of Two Busshells of Corne or any part or parcell thereof to bee behind and Unpaid after the said Feast of S.t Thomas in which the same ought to bee paid by the space of Forty dayes that then and from thence forth it shall and may bee Lawfull to and for the said William Gweyther his heirs Executo.rs and adm.rs and every or any of them all and singular the said parcell of Land and premisses w.th appurtenances to enter repossesse enjoy have againe and deteyne as in his and theire form.r Estate This Indenture or any thing Contained to the Contrary hereof in any wise notw.thstanding To have and to hold the said land and p.rmisses to the onely proper use and behoofe of him the said Elias Beech his heires and assignes for Ever And the said William Gweyther doth hereby for himself his heires Executors and adm.rs that hee the said William at the Ensealeing and delivery of these p.rsents is and doe stand Seized of the said Land and p.rmisses w.th appurtenances of a firme sure good and indefeazable estate of Inheritance in Fee simple and that hee hath full right good power and Lawfull Authority to grant bargaine and sell the same to him the said Elias Beech and his heires and that hee will for Ever warr.t and defend the same to him the said Elias Beech his heires and assignes against all persons whatsoever claymeing by from or under him the said William his heires Executors and adm.rs The Rents and Services due and payable to the Right hono.ble the Lord Prop.ry and his heires Lord or Lords of the Fee to bee paid by the said William Gweythur his heires and assignes for Ever In witnesse whereof the parties above named to these present Indentures Interchangeably have sett theire hands and seales the day and yeare above written Signed sealed and delivered in the p.rsence of William Gwyther sealed Thomas Griffin Daniell Carnell On the backside of the aforegoeing Deed was thus Written Viz Octob.r 14.th 1678 The within written Deed was then in open Court acknowledged by W.m Gwyther to bee his act and Deed to the uses therein mentioned Nic Painter Cl Cur Provini Maryland This Indenture made the seaventh day of March in the fourth yeare of the Dominion of the R.t Hono.ble Charles Lord Baltemore &c over Maryland Annoq Domini One thousand six hundred seaventy eight Between Thomas Smith of Saint Maryes County in the said province of Maryland and Alice his wife of the one part And John Evans of the County aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that Whereas George Smith by the name of George Smith of Sommsett County in the said province of Maryland had granted unto him by Lett.rs Pattent under the greate seale of the said Province a parcell of Land for three hundred acres Called Cambridge scituate lyeing and being on the East side of Chesepiak Bay neare Nantecoke River Bounded as followeth Begining at at a marked Oake being a Corner Tree of a parcell of Land surveyed for John Craycraft Thence with a line drawne south south East up barren Creeke ninety perches to a marked Gum thence w.th a Line drawne East North east into the Woods Five hundred thirty three perches and one third part of a peirch to a marked Pyne and from thence w.th a Lyne drawne North North West ninety perches to a marked pyne And from thence w.th a right Line drawne to the first bounder which said parcell of Land was by Thomas Doxey the Attorney of the said George Smith and Elizabeth the wife of the said George for a valluable Consideracon bargained and sold unto the said Thomas Smith his heires and assignes for Ever Witnesseth now further this present Indenture That the Said Thomas Smith and Alice his wife as well for and in Consideracon of the Summe of five thousand pounds of Tobacco |
