95 104 said Thomas Marshe have made and ordained and in my name stead and place put and appointed my Loveing friend George Parker my true and Lawfull deputy and attorney for me and my name stead and place into the said parcell of Land and premisses before given granted bargained sold Aliened and Confirmed with the appurtenances to enter and peaceable possession and seizin thereof to take and after such possession and seised thereof soe had and taken for me and in my name to give and deliver full and peaceable possession and seisin of the said parcell of Land and premisses aforesaid or of any part thereof in the name of the whole to the said Thomas Starling to the use and behoofe of him the said Thomas Starling his heyres and assignes for ever according to the effect intent & true meaneing before &c pressed Ratifieing and by these p.rsents alloweing and Confirmeing all and whatsoever my said attorney shall doe in the premises in as Large and ample manner and forme as if I were allwayes then and there personally present to execute & performe the same In wittnesse whereof the parties first above named to these present Indentures their hands and seales Interchangeablie have sett and putt the day and yeare first above written Annoq Domi One thousand Six hundred seaventy six Signed sealed and delivered locus sigilli in the presents of Benj.a Randall Jo Scott W.m Barchan On the backside of the aforegoing Deed was written viz.t Memorand That the Third day of May in the yeare of our Lord god One thousand six hundred seaventy and seaven full and peaceable possession and seisin of and in the said parcell of Land within mentioned with the appurtenances was had and taken by George Parker Attorney for the within named Thomas Marshe and by him the said George Parker full and peaceable possession of and in the said parcell of Land and premisses was then delivered unto the within named Thomas Starling according to the force and effect of the Deed within written & of the Letter of Attorney therefore made unto the said George Parker in the p.rsence of those whose names are here under written Thomas Marsh Memorand That the within written deed with the Lands and premisses therein mentioned was before us the Fourth day of May Annoq Dom One thousand six hundred seaventy & seaven acknowledged by the within named Thomas Marshe to be the right of the within named Thomas Starling his heyres and assignes for ever and that the same day and tyme Jane Marshe the wife of the said Thomas Marshe being secretly examined out of the hearing of her said Husband did freely Cleerely and voluntarily Confesse that she doth give upp all and singular her right title dower Clayme and demand whatsoever of and in the within mentioned parcell of Land and premisses with the appurtenances without the feare threats or displeasure of her said Husband to be the right of the said Thomas Starling his heyres and assignes for ever In Testimony whereof wee hereunto subscribed our names the day and yeare above written One thousand six hundred seaventy six Thomas Marshe Jane Marshe |
