       Rights Profitts and Premisses thereunto belonging (Royall Mines Excepted) To have and to hold the same unto
       him the said Thomas Marshe his heyres & assignes for Ever To be hold of his Lopp and his heyres as of
       his Lopps Manno.r of Baltemore in free and Comon Soccage by Fealty onely for all manner ^of^ services under
       such Rents and Covenants Condicons Limittations and excepted ^us^ as in and by the said Recited Deed and Grant
       of Pattents Relacon being thereunto had more att Large itt doth and may appeare Now this
       Indenture Wittnesseth That the said that the said Thomas Marsh for and in consideracon of the full
       Sume and Just quantity of Forty Thousand pounds of good sound well Condiconed Marchantable Tobacco
       in Casq to Containe the same to him in hand well & truly paid & secured to be well and truely paid by the
       said Thomas Starling before the insealeing and delivery hereof whereof and wherewith the said Thomas
       Marsh doth acknowledge himselfe to be wholely and fully satisfyed paid and Contented by these p.rsents hath
       given granted bargained sold Aliened and Confirmed and by these p.rsents doth give grant bargaine
       sell Alien and Confirme to the said Thomas Starling all that the aforesaid parcell of Land ^called^ Majors Choyce which
       said Land boundeth as abovesaid and Lyeing in the severall Countys of Ann Arundell and Calvert
       aforesaid Laid out for five hundred Acres of Land more or Lesse And now in the Teno.r ^or^ [illegible]
       of the said Thomas Marsh or of his Assignee or Assignes farmer or farmers under Tenant or
       under Tenants And all and all manner of houses edifices buildings trees wayes passages woods
       underwoods pastures feedings Commons Common of pasture waters ditches Fishings Fences
       Rents easements profitts Commodities and appurtennances whatsoever to the said parcell of Land and all
       and singular other the said premisses belonging or in any wise appertaineing or accepted reputed taken
       demised used occupyed or enjoyed as part parcell or member thereof or any parte thereof (Royall Mines
       Excepted) And the Revertion & Revertions Remaynder and Remaynders thereof and every parte and
       parcell thereof And all the Estate Right title interest use possession possibility Clayme and demand whatsoever
       of him the said Thomas Marshe of in or to the same and every parte or parcell thereof And all deeds
       Evidences writtings and Minuments concerning the premisses onely or onely any parte or parcell
       thereof To have and to hold the said parcell of Land And all and singuler other the premisses above by these
       p.rsents mentioned to bee given granted bargained sold aliened & Confirmed as aforesaid and every parte and
       parcell thereof & with theire and every of theire Appurtennances unto the said Thomas Starling his heyres &
       assignes and tot he onely proper use and behoofe of the said Thomas Starling and to his heyres and assignes for
       over And the said Thomas Marshe for himselfe his heyres Ex.rs administrato.rs and assignes and for every
       of them Doth Covenant promise and grant to and with the said Thomas Starling his heyres and assignes and
       to and with every of them by these p.rsents in manner and forme following (That is to say) that he the said Thomas
       Marshe att the time of the insesaleing and delivery of these p.rsents is and standeth Lawfully seized of and in the said
       parcell of Land and other the premisses above mentioned to bee hereby given granted bargained sold & Aliened
       and Confirmed as aforesaid and every part and parcell thereof with the appurtennances of a good rightfull
       absolute and indefeazable estate of Inheritance in fee simple without any Condicon Mortgage or
       Limmit^a^tion which may any way alter Change defeate or determine the same and alsoe that hee
       the said Thomas Marshe now att the insealeing and delivery of these p.rsents hath full power good right
       and Lawfull Authority to give grant bargaine sell alien and Confirme the same to the said
       Thomas Starling his heyres and assignes in manner and forme aforesaid And alsoe that the said Thomas
       Starling his heyres and assignes and every of them shall and may from tyme to tyme and att all tymes
       for Ever hereafter peacebly and quietly and have hold use occupie possesse and enjoy the said parcell
       of Land and premisses above mentioned to bee hereby given granted bargained sold Aliened and Confirmed
       as aforesaid and every and part and parcell thereof with the appurtenances without any lett suite
       eviction mollestacion deniall disturbance Incumbrance or interruption of him the said Thomas
       Marsh his heyres Executo.rs Adm.rs or assignes or of or by any other person or persons
