COUNTY LOCAL LAWS

the 62 sectional zoning district maps with amendments
thereto, pursuant to Section 4.01 of Article 66 B of the
Annotated Code of Maryland, a comprehensive zoning
ordinance known as the Zoning Ordinance for Kent County,
Maryland, adopted November 18, 1969, said ordinance
consisting of the text thereof entitled Zoning Ordinance
for Kent County, Maryland, and 62 sectional zoning
district maps dated November 18, 1969, and all subsequent
amendments thereto plus additional amendments to pass as
an Emergency Bill.

SECTION I. BE IT ENACTED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF KENT COUNTY, MARYLAND, That new Section
7 01 be and is hereby added to the Code of Public Local
Laws of Kent County (1957 Edition and 1970 Supplement
being Article 15 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland), title "Kent County" subtitle "County
Commissioners" to read as follows:

7011. PURSUANT TO SECTION 4.01 ARTICLE 66 B OF THE
ANNOTATED CODE OF MARYLAND AS AMENDED, THE COMPREHENSIVE
ZONING ORDINANCE KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR KENT
COUNTY, MARYLAND, ADOPTED NOVEMBER 18, 1969, CONSISTING
OF THE TEXT THEREOF, AND ENTITLED ZONING ORDINANCE FOR
KENT COUNTY, MARYLAND, AND 62 SECTIONAL ZONING DISTRICT
MAPS DATED NOVEMBER 18, 1969, BE AND ARE HEREBY
RE-ADOPTED WITH ADDITIONAL AMENDMENTS.

SECTION II. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this
Act is declared to be an Emergency Measure and necessary
for the immediate preservation of the public health,
safety and welfare of the County, and having been passed
by a yea vote supported by two-thirds of the members of
the Board of County Commissioners, the same shall take
effect from the date of passage.

AN ACT to add new Section 702 to the Code of Public
Local Laws of Kent County (1967 Edition and 1970
Supplement being Article 15 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland) title "Kent County" subtitle "County
Commissioners" to provide for the office of a Director of
Planning and defining the duties of the Director of
Planning.

COMMISSIONERS OF KENT COUNTY, MARYLAND, That new Section
