3244 EXECUTIVE ORDERS
(e) Any bus, as defined in
Article 66 1/2, § 1-105, school bus, as
defined in Article 66 1/2, § 1-181 and
taxicab, as defined in Article 66 1/2, §
1-197, except that taxicab shall also include
motor vehicles operated with the approval of
the Public Service Commission on fixed routes
and schedules.
(f) Motorcycles as defined in
Article 66 1/2, § 1-150 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland;
(g) Trucks (other than station
wagons) as defined in Article 66 1/2, § 1—205
of the Annotated Code of Maryland.
(H) VEHICLES OPERATED BY PERSONS
REQUIRED TO USE THOSE VEHICLES DAILY IN THEIR
EMPLOYMENT, AND WHO ARE REQUIRED TO DRIVE MORE
THAN 75 MILES A DAY, OTHER THAN FOR COMMUTING,
UPON PRESENTATION OF PROPER IDENTIFICATION AND
AN AFFIDAVIT IN A FORM ATTACHED TO THIS ORDER.
5. Any violation of this Order shall
be punishable as a misdemeanor and shall
subject the offender to a fine of not more
than one hundred dollars ($100,00) or not more
than sixty days incarceration, or both, upon
conviction thereof. THE MAKING OF A FALSE
AFFIDAVIT PURSUANT TO PARAGRAPH 4(H) AND THE
WILFUL MAKING OF A FALSE REPRESENTATION THAT A
VEHICLE IS EXCLUDED FROM THE PROVISIONS OF
THIS ORDER PURSUANT TO PARAGRAPH 4 ARE
VIOLATIONS OF THIS ORDER. PURSUANT TO MY
CONSTITUTIONAL AUTHORITY TO NOLLE PROSSE
CRIMINAL CHARGES AND TO GRANT REPRIEVES AND
PARDONS PROVIDED IN ARTICLE II, § 20 OF THE
CONSTITUTION OF MARYLAND, AND SUCH OTHER
AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME BY THE CONSTITUTION AND
LAWS OF MARYLAND, I HEREBY DIRECT THE POLICE
AND PROSECUTING OFFICIALS OF THE STATE AND
LOCAL GOVERNMENTS NOT TO PROSECUTE TECHNICAL
VIOLATIONS OF THIS ORDER OCCASIONED BY
EMERGENCY SITUATIONS.
