House Bill No. 1491 — Baltimore City Payments on
Revenue Bonds
AN ACT concerning
City of Baltimore — General Powers
FOR the purpose of authorizing the Mayor and City Council
of Baltimore to pledge or assign, for the payment of
principal and interest on its revenue bonds, any
contracts, mortgages or other securities, or the
revenues therefrom, purchased or otherwise acquired
with the proceeds of the revenue bonds; to enter
into trust agreements with a corporate trustee,
which may be any trust company or bank having trust
powers within or without the State, in order to
secure its revenue bonds, to pledge or assign to the
trustee all or any part of the revenues from or
arising in connection with the properties,
facilities, developments and improvements financed
by the issuance of the revenue bonds, the revenues
from or arising in connection with any contracts,
mortgages or other securities purchased with the
proceeds of the revenue bonds, or the contracts,
mortgages or other securities purchased or otherwise
acquired with the proceeds of the revenue bonds, to
provide certain bondholer remedies; generally
relating to the issuance of revenue bonds by
Baltimore City; and making this Act an emergency
measure.
