AN ACT concerning

Real Property Exemptions — Prince George's
Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Inc.

FOR the purpose of providing [[Real Property Exemptions
for property owned by said foundation, and not used
for commercial purposes. ]] a local tax exemption for
property of the Prince George's Chamber of Commerce
Foundation, Inc.

Article 81 — Revenue and Taxes

Section 9(e-1)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1969 Replacement Volume and 1973 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 9(e—1) be and it is hereby
added to Article 81 - Revenue and Taxes, of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1969 Replacement Volume and 1973
Supplement) to read as follows:

Article 81 — Revenue and Taxes
9.

(E-1) FROM COUNTY TAXATION ONLY. REAL PROPERTY OWNED
BY THE PRINCE GEORGE'S CHAMBER OF COMMERCE FOUNDATION,
INC., ACQUIRED ON OR AFTER NOVEMBER 24, 1973, AND NOT
USED FOR COMMERCIAL PURPOSES. THIS EXEMPTION SHALL BE IN
ADDITION TO AND NOT IN LIMITATION OF THE EXEMPTIONS
PROVIDED IN SUBSECTION (E) OF THIS SECTION 9, INSOFAR AS
APPLICABLE TO THE PROPERTY OF THE FOUNDATION.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.
