94. of these Presents ^the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath Granted Bargained and sold and by these Presents^ Doth grant Bargain and Sell unto him the said James Jordan his Executors Administrators and Assigns All that Moiety or one half part of a Tract or Parcel of Land lying and being in Saint Marys County aforesaid called Sussex devised in Tail by the Will of Justinian Jordan to his Son the aforesaid Jeremiah the other Moiety being by same Will devised to the aforesaid James containing in the whole Tract One hundred and fifty Acres of Land more or less Together with all Edifices Buildings Gardens Orchards Ways Waters Water Courses Commodities Priviledges Improvements Emoluments Advantages and Appurtenances whatsoever to the same Tract or Parcels of Land belonging or Appurtaining and the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders Rents Issues and Profits thereof and of every Part thereof To have and To hold the said Tract or parcel of Land and every Part thereof and all and Singular the Premisses with the Rights Members and Appurtenances unto the Said James Jordan his Executors Administrators and Assigns from the day next before the day of the date of these Presents for and during and untill the full end and Term of One whole Year from thence next ensuing and fully to be compleat and ended To the intent and Purpose that by force and Virtue of these Presents and of the statute for transferring Uses into Possession the said James Jordan may be in actual Possession of the Premisses and be thereby enabled to take and accept a Grant and release of the Reversion and Inheritance thereof to him and his Heirs for ever In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents have hereunto interchangeably set their Hands and affixed their seals the day and Year first above written Jeremiah Jordan s Sealed and Delivered in the Presence of James Jordan s J Hepburn J Hall On the Back of the aforesaid Deed was thus Written Received on the 19th of August 1763 of and from the within named James Jordan the sum of Five Shillings Sterling Money being the Consideration Money within mentioned to be by him paid me I say received by me Witness J Hepburn Jeremiah Jordan Recorded the 29th September 1763 4 1/2 s.d |
