       made and Provided   And the Said Cordelia being at the Same Time Examined Privately and
       out of the hearing of her said Husband did declare that she did Execute the Same and thereby
       Released and Conveyed her Right to and Estate in the within mentioned one undivided third part
       of the Tract of Land aforesaid and Appurtenances to the Uses intents and Purposes within
       mentioned Voluntarily and freely and of her own Accord without any threats or fears of or Ill usage
       by her Husband or fear of his Displeasure

Ex.d      This Indenture made this Twenty Sixth day of August in the Year of
       our Lord Seventeen hundred and Sixty three Between Charles Hammond Jun.r of
       Ann Arundel County Gentleman of the one Part and Philip Hammond of the County
       afd Gentle.n of the other Part   Witnesseth that the said Charles Hammond for and
       in Consideration of the Sum of One hundred and Eighty five Pounds five shillings & six pence
       Sterling Money to him in hand well and truly paid by said Philip Hammond at and upon the
       Ensealing and Delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof the Said Charles Doth hereby Acknowledge
       and therewith confess himself to be fully Content & Satisfied He the said Charles hath granted
       bargained and sold Enfeoffed conveyed and Confirmed and doth hereby Grant Bargain & Sell
       Enfeoff convey and Confirm unto s.d Philip Hammond his Heirs and Assigns for ever
       the following Parcel of Land being Part of Two Tracts of Land belonging unto said Charles
       and known and Called by the Names of Buck bottom and the Valley of Strife lying in
       Baltimore County on the Branches of the great Falls of Potapsco River and formerly
       surveyed for a certain Daniel Clary as Refference unto the Patents of same being had and
       Recorded in Ann.ll County Land Records in Liber B C & G S N.o 7 may appear
       Beginning for the Bounds and Courses of said parcel hereby sold to s.d Philip as afd
