706 of all debts dues and demands whatsoever due and owing to him or them from the said Basil Wheeler at or unto the day of the date hereof In Witness Whereof the said Basil Wheeler hath hereunto sett his hand and seal this day and year first above written Signed Sealed & Delivered in the presence of Basil Wheeler seal J Hepburn Sam.l Hepburn On the Back of the Aforegoing Deed was thus Written (viz.t) October 23.d 1765 Received of William Sydebotham John & George Wheeler the Consideration herein Mentioned and full Satisfaction for the Estate Goods & Effects sold Transfer'd & sett over to them as herein Expressed Witnesses present Robert Walter Basil Wheeler James Levin Gibbs Maryland fs.t Octob.r 18.th 1765 Then came Basil Wheeler before me one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court and Acknowledged the above Deed to be his Act and Deed and the within Land Debts Goods and Chattles to be the sole right title and Estate of the Within Named William Sydebotham John Wheeler and George Wheeler for the intents uses and purposes thereon mentioned and for no other intent use or purpose whatsoever before J Hepburn on the 19.th day of October 1765 Rebecca Wheeler Wife of the above Named Basil Wheeler released her right of Dower to the above Land & Acknowledged that She did the Same willingly & freely without being Induced thereto by fears or threats of her said Husband or for fear of his displeasure before Jn.o Brice Received the 28.th ^October^ 1765 of Mess.rs William Sydebotham John & George Wheeler two Shillings and ten pence Sterling for the Use of Lord Baltimore being the Alienation Fine on the within Land and by virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd Esq.r his said Lordships Agent & Receiver General John Davidson 17 sides Recorded 28.th October 1765 |
