682. 19.th October 1765 Then came before me the Subscriber One of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court Cornelius Carmack Party to the Within Deed and did Acknowledge the same to be his Act & Deed and the Land and Premisses therein mentioned to be the Right & Estate of the said Samuel Chase his Heirs and Assigns according to the true Intent and meaning of the same Deed and the Act of Assembly in Such Case made and provided Taken before Geo Steuart Received the 19.th October 1765 of Samuel Chase the sum of twelve shillings and three pence sterling for the use of Lord Baltimore being the Alienation Fine on the within Land and by virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd Esq his said Lordships Agent and Receiver General John Davidson 10 sides Recorded 19.th October 1765 Examined This Indenture made this Eighth Day October In the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and sixty five between John Row of Frederick County in the province of Maryland Gentleman of the one part and David Ross of Prince Georges County and Province aforesaid Surgeon of the other part Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the Sum of Five Shillings Current Money to him the said John Row in hand paid by the said David Ross the Receipt Whereof is hereby Acknowledged And also to secure the Payment to the said David Ross His Executors Administrators or Assigns of the sum of Ninety pounds Sterling Money of Great Brittain with Interest thereon due from the said John Row to Daniel Dulany of the City of Annapolis and which sum the said David Ross became security to the said Dulany in a Joint Bond with the said John Row and also for the payment of Seventy four pounds four Shills & eleven pence Current Money due and owing by the said John Row to the said David Ross hath become Security for the Payment of a Debt of one hundred & Nine pounds Six shilling and Nine pence Current Money due |
