       September 14.th 1763   Received of M.r William Swartz two Shillings and Seven
       Pence half pence half penny Sterling for the Use of the Lord Baltimore being the Alienation
       Fine on the within Sixty Five Acres of Land by Virtue of a Commission from the Honble
       Edward Lloyd Esq.r his said Lordships Agent & receiver General

Ex.s  To all Persons to whom these presents shall come Greeting Know Ye
       that I William Clajon late of the City of Annapolis in the Province of Maryland but now of
       New York Schoolmaster Have made Ordained Constituted and Appointed and by these
       presents Do make Ordain Constitute and Appoint my Trusty and well beloved friends
       William Rind and Jonathan Pinkney of the City of Annapolis and Province aforesaid
       my true and Lawfull Attorney or Attorneys jointly and Severally for me and in my Name
       to Sign seal and deliver Deed of Bargain and Sale or other Conveyance for a Lot of
       Ground N.o 102 lying in the said City of Annapolis on the North East side thereof with the houses
       and Improvements thereon and the Same Deed in my Name to Acknowledge before one
       or more Justices of the City or Province aforesaid agreeable to the act of Assembly in such
       Case made and Provided  And I do hereby Authorize and Impower my said Attorney or
       Attorneys to receive the Consideration Money for the sale of the said Lott houses and Improvements
       and also for me And in my Name to make and give a Receipt or Acquittance for the same
       And generally I do hereby give and Grant my whole Power and Authority in and about
       the premisses to my said Attorney or Attorneys Joyntly and severally hereby Ratifying
       and Confirming all whatsoever they shall lawfully or Rightfully do in and about
       the premisses   In Witness Whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seal
       this Eighth day of August in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred
       and Sixty three                                    W.m Clajon
