666.

       Commodities Whatsoever to the said two Tracts of Land in anyways
       belonging or Appertaining To have and to hold unto the Honble
       John Tayloe of the Colony of Virginia his Heirs and Assigns
       forever one half or moiety of the abovementioned two Tracts
       of Land with all their Rights members & Appurtences To
       have and to hold unto the Honble Presby Thornton of the said
       Colony of Virginia his heirs & Assigns for ever one half or moiety
       of the above mentioned Lands & Premisses as Tenants in Common
       & not as joint Tenants to take by Survivorship to and for their
       Use & Behoof and their or either of their Heirs for ever and the
       said Henry Dorsey doth for himself his heirs Executors & Administrators
       Covenant Promise grant and Agree to & with the said
       John Tayloe & Presby Thornton their heirs Executors & Assigns
       for ever that he the said Henry Dorsey his heirs Executors & Administrators
       shall and will from time to time & at all times hereafter
       well and truly Warrant and Defend the aforesaid two Tracts of Land
       with all their Rights members & Appurtenances in any ways belonging
       or Appertaining unto them the said John Tayloe & Presby
       Thornton their heirs & Assigns forever as well against the Claim
       & Demand of him the said Henry Dorsey his heirs Executors &
       Administrators as against the Claim & Demand of all and
       every Person or Persons Whatsoever & Lastly the said Henry Dorsey
       doth Covenant Promise and agree to & with the said John Tayloe
       and Presby Thornton that they the said Jn.o Tayloe & Presby
       Thornton their heirs and Assigns Shall and may at all times
       for ever hereafter Peaceably & Quietly have hold use occupy
       Possess & Enjoy all & Singular the hereby Granted Premisses
       with the Appurtenances Without the Let trouble hindrance
       molestation Interruption or deniel of him the said Henry Dorsey
       his Heirs Executors & Administrators or any other person or Persons
       whatsoever  In Witness whereof the said Henry Dorsey hath by
       these presents set to his hand and Affixed his seal the day &
       date before mentioned
       Sign'd Seal'd & Deliver'd                           Henry Dorsey   seal
       in the presence of
                         Will.m Lux
                         H Ridgely

          On the Back of the Aforegoing Deed was thus Written viz.t

       May 21.st 1765  Then Received of the Honble John Tayloe & Presby Thornton
       Esq.rs the sum of Twelve hundred Pounds Sterling money of Great
       Brittain being the Consideration Money within mentioned as Witness my
