637 and it is the True intent and meaning of these presents that the Aforesaid Bargained and Sold land is to make good and be accountable the said Brice Tho.s Beal Worthington his Heirs or Assigns for any part or Quantity of the Remaining Land Called the Resurvey on Seths Folly to Brice Tho.s Beal Worthington his Heirs or Assigns that lays in Elder Surveys if any as by Referrance to the aforegoing condition of his Bond to George Scott will make it more fully Appear In Witness whereof the Parties first within Mentioned have hereunto set his hand and Affixed his seal the day and year first Above Written Signed Sealed & Delivered In Presence of Brice TB Worthington seal W.m Steuart Rob.t Couden On the Back of the Aforegoing Deed was thus Written viz.t Received September the 10.th 1765 Sixty three Pounds six Shillings Sterling Money being the Consideration Money within Mentioned W.m Steuart Rob.t Couden Brice TB Worthington September 10.th 1765 Then Came before us the Subscribers two of his Lordships Justices of Ann Arundel County Court the within Indenture to be his Act and Deed and the land and Premisses therein mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within named John Scott Heir at Law of George Scott of Fred.k County Deceased his Heirs and Assigns for ever W.m Steuart Rob.t Couden Received the 18.th September 1765 of John Scott twenty one Shillings and three pence Sterling for the use of Lord Baltimore being the Alienation Fine on the Within Land and by virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd Esq.r his said Lordships Agent and receiver General Recorded 18.th Sept.r 1765 John Davidson 10 sides Ex.d This Indenture made this Ninth day of June in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and sixty four Between Mary Holmes of Newington Buts in the County of Surry in the Kingdom of England Widow of the one part and Benjamin Tasker Charles Carroll Charles Carroll Barrister at Law Daniel Dulany & Walter Dulany of City of Annapolis in the Province of Maryland Esquires and Charles Carroll the Younger of Prince Georges County in the same Province Esquire of the other part Witnesseth that the said Mary Holmes for and in Consideration of the Sum of Five Shillings Sterling Money of Great Britain to her in hand paid by the said Benjamin Tasker Charles Carroll Charles Carroll Barrister at Law Daniel Dulany Walter Dulany and Charles Carroll the Younger the receipt whereof the said Mary Holmes doth hereby acknowledge Hath granted bargained & Sold and by these presents Doth grant bargain and sell unto the afores.d Benjamin Tasker Charles Carroll Charles Carroll Barrister at Law Daniel |
