614) his or their Counsel learnd in the Law shall be devised advis'd or requir'd In witness whereof the Parties to these Presents have hereunto interchangeably put their Hands and seals the Day and year First above written The Words (Harrison) between the 3.d & 4.th Lines and (N.o L) between the 22 & 23 Lines being Interlined before Sealing & delivery of these Presents Signed Sealed & Delivered In Presence of James Kelso Seal Patrick Allison W.m Buchanan On the Back of the aforesaid Deed was thus Written Viz.t Received Baltimore Town July 17.th 1765 of Samuel Purviance Jun.r Ten Pounds Pensylvania Money in full of the within Consideration James Kelso Baltimore Town august 2.d 1765 This Day came before Us the subscribers Two of his Lordships Justices of the Peace for Baltimore County the aforesaid James Kelso & acknowledged the aforegoing Instrument of Writing to be his Act & Deed & that the Indenture contained in the other side conveying y.e Premisses herein expresd for which the above Consideration is received was his voluntary Act & Deed according to the true Intent & meaning thereof Benjamin Rogers NRuxton Gay recorded 11.th Day of September 1765 9 1/4 sides Ex.d This Indenture made this Fifth Day of February Anno Domini one Thousand seven hundred and sixty five Between John Sayre of the City of Philadelphia Practitioner Physick of the one Part and Samuel Purviance in younder of the same Place Merchant of the other Part Whereas a certain Thomas Harrison of Baltimore Town in Baltimore County in the Province of Maryland Merchant by Indenture of Lease made between him the said Thomas Harrison of the one Part and the said John Sayre and Samuel Purviance and a certain James (Kelso) |
