       Received on the day and Year first within written of and from the within named Rebecca
       Young five shillings Sterling being the Consideration Money within Mentioned to be by her
       paid to me   I say received by me                                  M C Homewood
       Witness   Geo Steuart                  Rob.t Couden

       On the Sixth day of Mary seventeen hundred and sixty three Came before me the subscriber
       one of his Lordships Provincial Justices the within named John Hesselius and Mary his Wife
       Rebecca Young and Charles Homewood and did severally acknowledged the within Instrument
       of Writing to be their respective Act and Deed And at the same Time the said Mary being by me
       privately Examined apart from and out of the hearing of her said Husband did declare that
       she did by this her Acknowledgment release all her right and Title of Dower of in and to
       the Lands and Premisses within mentioned and that she did the same voluntarily and freely
       without being induced thereto by Fears or Threats of or Ill Usage from her said Husband
       or through fear of his Displeasure                        before

Exam.d This Indenture made this seventh day of May in the Year seventeen
       hundred and sixty three Between Rebecca Young of Ann Arundel County in the
       Province of Maryland Widow of the one part and John Hesselius of the same County and
       Province Gentleman of the other part Whereas by Indenture of Mortgage duly
       Executed acknowledged and recorded in the Provincial Land Records bearing date on or
       about the fourth day of October seventeen hundred and sixty made or mentioned to be made
       between a Certain Charles Homewood by the Name and Addition of Charles Homewood of
       Ann Arundel County Gentleman of the one part and a Certain Henry Woodward now
       deceased by the Name and addition of Henry Woodward of Ann Arundel County Gentleman
       of the other part the said Charles Homewood for the Consideration of two thousand and
       seventy four pounds and eight pence sterling Money in the said Indenture mentioned did give
       grant Bargain sell alien release enfeoffe and Confirm unto him the said Henry Woodward
       his Heirs and Assigns All those severall following Tracts or parcels of Land lying & being
       in Ann Arundel County aforesaid that is to say All that Tract or parcel of Land
