       Justices of the Provincial Court of Maryland and did acknowledge this Deed and the Lands
       and premisses therein contained to be the Right and property of the within Named Thomas
       Worthington his Heirs and Assigns for ever according to the true Intent and meaning thereof and
       Act of Assembly in that Case made and provided  Also at the same time Catherine the Wife of
       the said Nicholas Freely and Voluntery Released her Right of Dower to the same ^within^ Land and
       Premisses to the said Thomas Worthington his Heirs and Assigns for ever according to the
       act of Assembly in that Case made and Provided   Taken and acknowledged before me the day and

       March 2.d 1765 Received of M.r Thomas Worthington Thirteen shillings and three pence Sterling for
       the use of the Lord Baltimore being the Alienation fine on the within Lands by Virtue of a Commission
       from Edward Lloyd Esquire his said Lordships Agent and Receiver General

Ex.d Know all Men by these Presents that I Charles Drury of Ann arundel County Planter am
       held and firmly Bound unto Joseph Hutton of the County aforesaid Planter in the full and just
       sum of Five hundred pounds sterling money of Great Britain to the which payment to be well
       and truly made and done I bind myself my Heirs Executors or Administrators firmly by these
       presents sealed with my Seal and dated this seventeenth day of March Anno Dom Seventeen
       hundred and Sixty four   The Condition of the above Obligation is such that if the above bound
       Charles Drury his Heirs Executors or Administrators Do well and truly stand abide by and
       perform the Articles Contained in an Agreement made and drawn up on the Seventeenth day of
       March seventeen hundred & Sixty four by Joshua Griffith and Thomas Harwood jun.r (at the
       Request and Consent of the aforesaid Charles Drury and Joseph Hutton) according to the true
       intend and meaning of the articles aforesaid that then the above Obligation to be Void and of
       none Effect otherwise to remain in full force and Virtue in Law   Charles Drury      seal
       Signed sealed and Delivered in the presents of the words on the Seventeenth day of March Seventeen
       hundred and sixty four being first interlined before signed Tho.s Harwood Jun.r   Joshua Griffith
       Recorded 12.th day of March 1765

Ex.d This Indenture made this Ninth day of October in the year of our Lord One thousand Seven
       hundred & Sixty four Between Samuel Pottenger of Ann Arrund.l County (son and heir at Law of
       Samuel Pottinger late of Prince Georges County deceas'd) of the one part and Robert Pottenger (son
       of the aforesaid Samuel Pottenger deceased) of the other part witnesseth that the said Samuel
       Pottenger for and in Consideration that Robert Tyler Grandfather of the Present Samuel Pottenger
       did by his Last Will and Testament bearing date on or about the Twenty Ninth day of December
       One thousand Seven hundred and thirty five amongst other things give and bequeath unto his two
       Daughters Susannah Lamac and Elizabeth Pottenger all that two hundred acres of Land he had of
       a certain Benj.a Duvall called Howertons Range to be equally divided between them his said
       Daughter Susannah to have the Eastermost part and Elizabeth to have the Westermost part of
       said Land to them his said Daughters and to the Surviving heirs of either of their said Bodys
       lawfully written for ever and forasmuch as the said Robert Tyler did by his said last Will and
