521 premisses therein mentioned to be the Estate of the within Named Benjamin Tasker his heirs or Assigns according to the act of assembly in that Case made and provided Geo Steuart Received of M.r Benjamin Tasker three pounds seven shillings and One pence half pence sterling for his Lordships use being the Alienation Fine of the within sixteen hundred seventy and seven Acres of Land P Benj.a Beall 3 1/2 Recorded 7.th day of March 1765 Maryland fs This Indenture made this 22.nd day of February One thousand seven hundred sixty Ex.d & five Between Nicholas Worthington of Ann Arundle County of the one part and Thomas Worthington of Baltimore County of the other part Witnesseth that the said Nicholas Worthington for and in Consideration of the sum of sixty pounds sterling Money of England to him in hand paid by the said Thomas Worthington at or before the Ensealing and delivery of these presents the Receipt of which the said Nicholas does hereby acknowledge and thereof and therefrom & of & from every part and parcle thereof Doth Freely fully & Absolutely Exonerate acquit and for ever discharge the said Thomas Worthington his heirs Executors Adm.rs & every of them by these Presents Hath given granted bargained sold aliened Enfeofed Remised Released & Confirmed and by these Presents Doth give grant bargain sell alien Enfeof Remise Release and Confirm unto him the said Thomas Worthington his heirs and Assigns for ever all them two Tracts of Land lying in Baltimore County called Petticoats Benefit & Petticoats addition Containing by his Lordships Pattents three hundred and thirty acres more or less with all and singular the appurtenances to the said Land belonging or in any wise appertaining To have and to hold the said two Tracts of Land with the appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the said Thomas Worthington his heirs and Assigns for ever and to the onely proper use and behoof of him the said Thomas Worthington his heirs and Assigns for ever and to none other use Intent or Purpose Whatsoever And the said Nicholas Worthington for himself his heirs Ex.rs Adm.rs and every of them Doth Covenant Promise grant and agree to and with the said Thomas Worthington his heirs and Assigns that he the said Nicholas Worthington and his heirs shall and will from time to time and at all times hereafter Warrant and for ever defend unto the said Thomas Worthington his heirs and Assigns all the abovementioned bargained Land and premisses with y.e appurtenances against him the said Nicholas Worthington & his heirs or all persons Claiming from by or under him but no further In witness whereof the Parties to these presents have hereunto set their Hands and Seals the day and year above written Nicholas Worthington seal signed sealed & delivered in the presence of the words (Land and) being first interlined Sarah Brice John Brice On the Back of the foregoing Deed it is thus Written Viz.t Received the Day and year within mentioned of the within Named Thomas Worthington the sum of Sixty pounds sterling Money of England being the Consideration Money within mentioned Witnesses P Nicholas Worthington Sarah Brice Jn.o Brice Memorandum to wit on the 22.d Day of February Seventeen hundred Sixty and five came Nicholas Worthington the Person within named before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices |
