481. me one of his Lordships Justices of the Peace for Ann Arundel County Reverdy Ghiselin Recorded the 23.d December 1764 I James Dixon as Deputy Clerk in the Prerogative Office do Swear that I will not for Lucre or Malice delay any Person or Persons Applying to me for any Buisiness belonging to the Office I Officiate in and that I will not directly or indirectly Ask Demand take or receive from or charge to any such Person or Persons to my own use (except my Sallary from my Principal any Fee or Reward Whatsoever for any Service I shall do as Clerk of the said Office And also that in making out the Office Fees I will not Wittingly or Willingly charge other or higher Fees than limitted by the Act entituled An Act for amending the Staple of Tobacco for Preventing Frauds in his Majestys Customs and for the Limitation of Officers Fees Sworn to before me one of the Lordp.rys Justices of the Peace for Ann Arundel County this 19.th Decem.r 1764 Reverdy Ghiselin Recorded the 23.d December 1764 Fees ch.d these four for y.e Year 1764 Ex.d This Indenture made this Seventeenth day of December in the Year of our Lord ^one thousand^ Seventeen hundred and Sixty four Between William Askew of Baltimore City Schoolmaster of the one Part and Charles ^Frederick^ Wiesenthall Doctor in Physick and Joseph Ensor Gentleman both of the City aforesaid of the other Part Whereas by Indenture of Bargain and Sale duly executed and Recorded and bearing date on or about the twenty second day of November in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and fifty four Between a certain Sarah Boring ^of the one part & the aforesaid William Askew of the other part the said Sarah Boring^ for the Consideration therein mentioned did Give Grant Bargain Sell Alien enfeoff and Confirm unto the said William Askew his Heirs and Assigns forever all three Lotts of Land and Premises lying and being in the first Addition to Baltimore Town in Baltimore City known and Distinguished by the Numbers twenty six Twenty seven and twenty eight To have and to hold the said Lotts of Land and Premises with the Appurtenances unto the said William Askew his Heirs & Assigns forever And Whereas by one other Indenture of Bargain and Sale duly executed and Recorded and bearing date on or about the twenty fourth (day) |
