       Titles Troubles Charges and Incumbrances whatsoever had made Committed Done or suffered
       or to be had made Committed Done or suffered by her the said Cassandra Smith her
       Heirs Executors Administrators or any other Person or Persons lawfully Claiming or to
       Claim by from or under her them or any or either of them In Witness whereof the Party
       first above named hath hereunto set her hand and Affixed her Seal the day and Year

       the Presents off
          Plum.r Jiams               On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Written Viz.t

                                  Ann Arundel County fs.t   October 6.th 1764

       Then came Came Cassandra Smith before me one of his Lordships Justices of the Peace
       for the County af.d and Acknowledged the within Instrument of Writing to be her
       Act and Deed and the Negro therein mentioned to be the Right of the within named
       Cassandra Tanyhill her Heirs and Assigns forever and at the same time Acknowledged
       that She had received five shillings as Consideration Money for the
       within mentioned Negro Before me

       Received Oct.o 6 176 five shillings Sterling being in full Consideration Besides
       what is mentioned within this Instrument of Writing

              I Elie Vallette as Register of the Prerogative Office do Swear that I will not
       for Lucre or Malice delay any Person or Persons Applying to Me for any Buisiness
       belonging to the Office I Officiate in and that I will not Directly or indirectly
       Ask Demand take or receive from or charge to any such Person or Persons to my
       own Use (except my Sallary from my Principal) any Fee or reward whatsoever
       for any service I shall do as Clerk of the said Office And also that in
       making out the Office Fees I will not Willingly or Wittingly charge other
       or higher Fees than limitted by the Act Intituled An Act for amending the Staple
       of Tobacco for Preventing Frauds in his Majestys Customs and for
       Limitation of Officers Fees      Sworn to this 19.th December 1764 Before
