       Voluntarily and freely without being induced thereto by fears or Threats of or ill Usage from
       her said Husband or through fear of his Displeasure According to the Act of
       Assembly af.d                                                   John Darnall

       1764 December the 19.th Received of Thomas Johnson Junior Esq fourteen shillings
       and ten Pence one half Penny Sterling for the use of the Lord Baltimore being the
       Alienation fine on the within three hundred and Seventy one Acres of Land by
       Virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd Esq his said Lordships Agent and
       receiver General                                                               Benj.a Beall
                      Recorded the 19.th December 1764


Ex.d Maryland Sect   Know all Men by these Presents that I Evan Shelby of Frederick
        County Gentleman for the Consideration of Five shillings to me in hand Paid
       by John Brice of the City of Annapolis the receipt whereof I do hereby Acknowledge
       Have released and by these Presents do release to the said John Brice his Heirs
       and Assigns all these two Tracts of Land lying and being in Frederick County
       the one called Tetors Neglect Containing Sixty eight Acres more or Less and
       the othe called Tetericks Folly Containing two hundred and twelve Acres more
       or Less To have and to hold the said Two Tracts of Land with the Appurtenances
       to the aforesaid John Brice his Heirs and Assigns forever to his
       and their Proper use and behoof In Witness whereof I have hereto set my
       Hand and Affixed my Seal this first day of October Seventeen hundred and Sixty four
       Sealed and Delivered in                                                            Evan Shelby   Seal
       the Presence of
             J Rogers
                                           On the back of the aforegoing was thus Written   Viz.t

       On the first day of October 1764 Came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships
       Provincial Justices the within named Evan Sheby and Acknowledged
       the within Instrument of Writing to be his Act and Deed and the Lands &
       Premises within mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within named
       John Brice his Heirs and Assigns forever According to the true intent
       and meaning of the same Deed and the Act of Assembly in such Case
       made and Provided                     Before      J Hepburn
                Recorded 21.st December 1764
