       or Concerning the Premisses And to do say pursue Implead Seize Sequester Arrest Attach
       Imprison and to Condemn and out of Prison again to deliver And also to Compound Compromise
       Arbitrate Conclude and agree as the Case may require And the said Attorney
       shall think fit   And Generally in and Concerning the Premisses to do Perform and Execute
       all and whatsoever shall be requisite and Necessary as fully amply and Effectually to all
       Intents Constructions and Purposes as he the Constituent himself might or Could do if
       personally present And that altho the Causes should require more ample and Especial
       power than is herein and hereby given and granted with Power to his said Attorney to
       substitute one or more Attorneys under her with the like or Limitted Power and the same
       again at Pleasure to revoke He the Constituent hereby promising to ratifie Confirm
       and hold for good and valid all and whatsoever his said Attorney or her substitutes shall
       Lawfully do or Cause to be done in and about the Premisses by Virtue of these Presents
       Thus done and passed in London aforesaid in the presence of David Elias and William
       Crofts Witnesses hereunto required

          I Thomas Edwards Clerk of Lancaster County in Virginia Certify that this Power of
       Attorney was Presented to the Court of the County afd at a Court held for the said County
       on the 17th day of June 1763   by the within Elizabeth Fish and was Ordered to be
       Certified                                             Tho.s Edwards

       did by their Bill of Sale bearing date December the fifteenth 1758 make over unto Charles
       Carroll Esquire the five following Negroes Viz Jenney Bess Kate Henny & Clem
       for the sum of One hundred and thirty four Pounds Sterling & the Interest that should
       arise thereon   Now Know all Men by these Presents that I Charles Carroll
       do Release Transfer & make over all my Right Title Claim and Interest of in
       & to the above mentioned Negroes (Except to one Negro Girl Sold by the above mentioned
                                                                                                             Lancelot
