Oct.o 1764 Then Received of M.r Edward Dorsey son of John the sum of Twenty five Pounds Sterling Money being the Consideration Money within mentioned P Jn.o Dorsey H Ridgely Oct.o 21.st 1764 Received of M.r Edward Dorsey Son of John four Shillings and four Pence Sterling for the use of the Lord Baltimore being the Alienation Fine on the within One hundred and eight Acres of Land by Virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd Esq his said Lordships Agent and receiver General Benj.a Beall Recorded the 20.th of Oct.o 1764 This Indenture made this 1.st day of October Anno Domini One Thousand seven hundred and Sixty four Between Thomas Selman of Baltimore County Planter of the one Part and Edward Dorsey son of John of Ann Arundel County Merchant of the other Part Witnesseth that ^he^ the said Thomas Selman for and in Consideration of the sum of One hundred and Twelve Pounds Current Money to him in hand paid at and before the ensealing and Delivery of these Presents by the said Edward Dorsey the Receipts whereof he the said Thomas Selman doth hereby Acknowledge and himself therewith fully Satisfyed contented and Paid and thereof and therewithfrom and from every Part and Parcell thereof doth fully Clearly and Absolutely ^exonerate Acquit and discharge the said Edward Dorsey his Heirs and Assigns forever Hath Given Granted Bargained and sold Aliened enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these Presents doth fully^ give Grant Bargain Sell Alien enfeoff and Clearly and Absolutely Confirm unto him the said Edward Dorsey his Heirs and Assigns forever all such Moiety or Part or Part of a Tract of Land called Additional Progress Situated and lying Partly in Ann Arundel County and Partly in Baltimore County Containing by Patent Four hundred and thirteen Acres of Land (the said Moiety or Part of the aforesaid Additional Progress then with Begining at the end of the Nineteenth Course of the Originall Tract called the Progress and running thence South Sixty three degrees east ^Twenty^ three Perches North Seventy six degrees east one hundred and seven Perches North thirty degrees West Two hundred and three Perches (to) |
