       herein before mentioned or intended to be hereby Granted Bargained Sold Aliened
       enfeoffed and Confirmed and every part and Parcell thereof unto the said Nicholas ^Maccubbin^ his Heirs
       and Assigns to the only Proper use and behoof of him the said Nicholas Maccubbin
       his Heirs and Assigns forever and to & for no other use intent or Purpose whatsoever
       and the said John Taylor for himself his Heirs Executors and Administrators
       Doth Covenant Grant and Agree to and with the said Nicholas Maccubbin
       his Heirs and Assigns by these Presents that the said John Taylor and his Heirs
       shall and will from time to time and at all Times hereafter Warrant and defend the
       aforesaid Lands and Premisses above mentioned with the Appurtenances herein before
       Granted Bargained Sold Aliened enfeoffed and Confirmed from and against all Manner
       of Person and or Persons Whatsoever Provided always and it is the True intent
       and Meaning of these Presents that if the said John Taylor his Heirs Executors or
       Administrators shall well and truly Pay unto the said Nicholas Maccubbin
       his Executors Administrators or Assigns the said sum of Two hundred and forty
       eight Pounds Seventeen shillings and seven Pence Current Money and the
       Charge of Drawing and Recording the said Mortgage at the Dwelling House
       of the said Nicholas Maccubbin in the City aforesaid with legal Interest thereof at
       or before the         day of               next ensuing that then these Presents shall
       be Void and of none Effect Otherwise to be and remain in full force and the
       said John Taylor do by these Presents bind himself his Heirs Executors and
       Administrators to Pay the said Money ^and Interest^ Accordingly In Witness whereof the said
       John Taylor hath hereunto set his Hand and Affixed his Seal the day and Year
       ^first^ above Written
       Signed Sealed & Delivered                  John Taylor senior      Seal
       in Presence of

          Thomas Taylor                           On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was
          Thom.s Harwood                       thus Written Viz.t
