       Calvert County June 16.th Then came before me the Subscriber one of his
       Lordships Justices of the Peace for the County aforesaid the within named
       Cassandra Smith who Acknowledged the within Instrument of Writing to be
       her Act and Deed and the Negroes and the other Goods & Chattells within
       mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within named Lurania Taneyhill
       her Executors Administrators and Assigns According to the True intent
       and meaning thereof Taken and Acknowledged the day and Year afores.d

Ex.d      This Indenture made this Twenty eighth day of July one thousand seven
       hundred Sixty and four Between Alexander Beall Robert Beall and Archibald
       Edmonston of Frederick County in the Province of Maryland of the one
       Part and James Beall (Son of James) of the County aforesaid of the other Part
       Witnesseth that the said Alexander Beall Robert Beall and Archibald Edmonston
       for and in Consideration of the sum of One hundred Pounds Current
       Money of Maryland by the same James Beall to the said Alex.r Beall
       Robert Beall and Archib.d Edmonston before the Execution of these Presents
       in Hand Paid the Receipt whereof the said Alex.r Beall Robert Beall &
       Archibald Edmonston Doth Acknowledge Hath Granted Bargained
       Sold Aliened ^released^ enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these Presents Doth Grant
       Bargain Sell Alien release enfeoff and Confirm unto the same James
       Beall all that two Tracts or Parcells of Land called the Resurvey on Batchellors Forrest
       Orign.l Granted to James Edmonston Robert Beall & Alex.r Beall lying
       and being in Frederick County Begining for the Part hereby Granted Parcell
       of Land at the end of the Fourth forty fifth line of s.d Tract of Land which
       is South fifteen degrees West eighty four Perches then running with s.d
