       and doth bear unto the said Lurania Taneyhill and for and in Consideration of the
       sum of Five Pounds Sterling to her in Hand Paid by the said Lurania Taneyhill
       the Receipt whereof the said Cassandra Smith doth hereby Acknowledge and
       Confess and for other Good Causes She the said Cassandra Smith hath Given
       Granted Bargained and Sold and by these Presents doth Give Grant Bargain
       and Sell unto her the said Lurania Taneyhill Two Negro Children One named
       Bristo the other named George with one new Iron eight Gallon Pott two Iron
       Basons One Grid Iron and one Laidle and Still and a large Iron Trap To have
       and to hold the said two Negro Children named Bristo and George and
       all and Singular the ^other^ Goods and Chattells unto the said Lurania Taneyhill
       her Heirs Executors & Administrators and Assigns and the said Cassandra
       Smith for herself her Executors Administrators and Assigns doth hereby Covenant
       Grant and Agree to and with the said Lurania Taneyhill her Executors
       Administrators and Assigns that She the said Cassandra Smith the two Negro
       Children and all other the Goods and Chattells above mentioned to the
       said Lurania Taneyhill her Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns
       shall and will Warrant and for ever defend the said two Negro Children
       and all the Goods and Chattells above mentioned from all Manner of
       Persons whatever by these Presents in Witness whereof the said Cassandra
       Smith doth Affix her Hand and Seal

          On the back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Written Viz.t

       June 16.th  Then received of Lurania Taneyhill the sum of Five
