365 be the Right of the within mentioned John Buchanan his Heirs and Assigns and that She doth make her Acknowledgment willingly and freely and without being Induced thereto by fears or Threats of or ill Usage by her Husband or fear of his Displeasure taken before and certified by J Hepburn Received on the Year and day first within Written of the within named John Buchanan by the Hands of his Attorney James Dick the sum of Four hundred Pounds Sterling being the Consideration Money within mentioned Witness Adam Thomson J Hepburn Recorded the 28.th day of June 1764 12 s.d X.d This Indenture made this Twenty first day of May in the Year of Our Lord One Thousand seven hundred and Sixty four Between Isaac Risteau of Baltimore County in the Province of Maryland of the one part and Philip Darnall of Ann Arundel County in the Province afores.d of the Other part Witnesseth that the I said Isaac Risteau for and in Consideration of the sum of forty Pounds Current Money to him in Hand Paid by the said Philip Darnall the receipt of which he the said Isaac Risteau doth hereby Acknowledge and himself therewith to be fully Satisfied contented and Paid Hath Given Granted Bargained and Sold Alliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these Presents Doth Give Grant Bargain Sell Allien enfeoff and Confirm unto him the said Philip Darnall his Heirs and Assigns forever all that part of a Tract or Parcell of Land called Risteaus Discovery lying and being in the County affors.d which is Contained within the following Courses and Distances Viz.t Begining at a bounded Locust Post Tree now Down being the Begining Tree of a Tract of Land call Rapretta (and) |
