       have Remised Released and for ever Quit Claim ^and by these Present do Remise Release and for ever quit Claim^ unto the said John Buchanan
       his Heirs and Assigns all and all Manner of Dower and Right and Title of Dower
       Whatsoever which She the said Lettice now hath may might Shou'd or of Right ought
       to have of in and to the said Several Tracts or Parcells of Land and other ^the^ Premisses
       with the Appurtenances and of in ^or^ to any Part or Parcell thereof so that neither
       She the said Lettice nor any other for her or in her name any manner of Dower
       or Writ or Action of Dower or any Manner of Right or Title of Dower of or
       in the said Several Tracts of Land and other Premisses with the Appurtenances
       or any Part or Parcell thereof at any Time hereafter shall or may have or Claim
       or Prosecute against the said John Buchanan his Heirs or Assigns or any of them
       but of and from the same shall be Utterly Barred and for ever excluded By these
       Presents In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents have set their Hands
       and Seals this twenty seventh day of June in the Year of our Lord one Thousand seven
       hundred and Sixty four

                                  On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Written Viz.t

       June y.e 27 1764  Then Came the within named Adam Thomson before me the Subscriber
       one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court and Acknowledged the within     
       Instrument of Writing to be his Act and Deed and at the same Time came
       before me Lettice the Wife of the said Adam Thomson who being Privately Examined
       out of the hearing of her said Husband Acknowledged the within Instrument
       of Writing to be her Act and Deed and her Right and Dower of and in the Several
       Lands and Premisses with the Appurtenances within mentioned to
