       On the Sixteenth day of June Anno Domini Seventeen hundred and Sixty four
       the within named Zacheus Onion Personally Appeared before me the Subscriber one
       of the Justices of the Provincial Court of the Province of Maryland and Acknowledged
       the within Instrument of Writing wrote on three Sheets of Paper Indented
       to be his Act and Deed and the Lands and Premisses therein mentioned to
       be the Right and Estate of the within named John Brice his Heirs and
       Assigns forever According to the True intent and meaning of the within Indenture
       or Deed of Mortgage and the Act of Assembly in such Case made and Provided

Ex.d      To all Christian People to whom this Present Writing shall come I Adam
       Thompson of Prince Georges County in the Province of Maryland Physician and
       Lettice my Wife late Wife of James Wardrop late of the County and Province aforesaid
       Merchant Deceased send Greeting Whereas John Buchanan of the City of London
       in Great Britain Merchant did on or about the Twenty second day of July in the
       Year of our Lord one Thousand Seven hundred and Sixty one Purchase at Publick
       Vendue an undivided fourth Part of the Iron Works Commonly known by the name
       of the Nottingham Company Iron Works which did formerly belong to the aforesaid
       James Wardrop with all the Lands Houses Works Exec^u^tions Mine Banks Mill Damms
       Meadows Water Courses and all other Improvements which the said Company had or
       may have any Estate Right Title and Interest in Know Ye that I Adam
       Thomson and Lettice my Wife for and in Consideration of the sum of Four
       hundred Pounds Sterling Money to the said Adam Thomson in Hand Paid
