       1764 April 10.th Received of M.r Lancelot Dorsey one Shilling and Nine Pence
       Sterling for the use of the Lord Baltimore being the Alienation Fine on the
       within Forty three Acres of Land by Virtue of a Commission from Edw.d
       Lloyd Esq his said Lordships Agent and receiver Gentle General

          Recorded the 12.th May 1764

Ex.d   This Indenture Tripartite made this third day of April in the Year of
       our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and Sixty four Between William
       Merrill of Worcester County in the Province of Maryland of the first Part
       and Simpson Merrill of the same Place of the Second Part and Thomas Merrill
       of the same Place of the Third ^other^ Part Witnesseth that the said William Merrill
       for and in Consideration of the sum of Seventy five pounds Current Money
       of Maryland to him in Hand Paid by the af.d Thomas Merrill at and
       before the Sealing and Delivery hereof the receipt whereof the said William
       hereby doth Acknowledge and for the better further and better Assuring of
       the Lands and Tenements with his Heirs and Assigns the Appurtenances
       herein afterwards Particularly Described and mentioned to the said Thomas
       Merrill his Heirs and Assigns forever hath Granted Bargained and Sold
       and doth hereby Grant Bargain and Sell unto the said Thomas Merrill
       his Heirs and Assigns forever One hundred Acres of Land with the Appurtenances
       in Worcester County af.d being Part of a Tract of Land called
       Arricoco and is that One hundred Acres of Land which William
       Merrill late of the County af.d deces.d Grandfather of the af.d William
       Merrill by his last Will and Testament in Writing bearing Date the
       Twenty third Day of January Anno Domini Seventeen hundred and
       Nine and ten did Devise unto his Son William Merrill Father of
       the af.d William Merrill Party to these Presents in fee Tail under the
