313) This Indenture made this thirtieth day of April in the Year of our Lord Christ Seventeen hundred and Sixty four Between Joseph Gill of Dorchester County in the Province of Maryland Merchant of the one Part and William Brown of Ann Arundel County in the same Province Cabinet Maker of the ^other^ Part Witnesseth that the said Joseph Gill for and in Consideration of the sum of Four hundred and Twenty one Pounds and six Pence sterling Money to him in Hand Paid by the said William Brown Paid before the ensealing and Delivery of these Presents the receipt whereof the said Joseph Gill doth hereby Acknowledge and therefrom Acquit and Discharge the said William Brown his Heirs Executors and Administrators and every of them by these Presents Hath given Granted Bargained Sold Aliened released enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these Presents Doth ^give^ Grant Bargain ^sell^ Alien release enfeoff and Confirm unto him the said William Brown his Heirs and Assigns all that Tract of Land Called Dentons Holme lying lately in Talbot County but ^and^ in Dorchester County aforesaid on the North side of the Main Stream of the North east Branch of Great Choptank River next above the Land of Colonel Vincent Lowe called Towtonfield Begining at a White Oak by the Branch of the River near a Valley Marked with fifteen Notches Viz.t five five and five being the Eastermost bounded Tree of Toutonfield thence running by the River side to another Great White Oak marked five Notches two Notches and five Notches Standing by the bank of the River to the Eastward of a small Point and within a Little Marshey Valley running aCross the Mouth of that Little Point which last mentioned Oak Stands One hundred and fifty Perches East from the first Oak and from that Oak Marked (five) |
