Ex.d & This Indenture made this Ninth day of July Anno Domini One thousand deliv.d to Jn.o Lawrence seven hundred and sixty three Between Thomas Todd Jun.r of Ann Arundel County and Province of Maryland Heir at Law of Lancelott Todd of Frederick County Deceased of the one part and William Hall of Elk Ridge in County and Province afores.d Merchant of the other part Witnesseth that the said Thomas Todd Jun.r for and in Consideration of the sum of Fifty Pounds Current Money to him in hand paid at and Before the ensealing and delivery of these presents by the said William Hall the receipt whereof he the said Thomas Todd Jun.r Doth hereby Acknowledged and himself therewith fully satisfied Contented & paid and thereof and therefrom and from every part & parcels thereof doth fully Clearly & Absolutely Exonerate acquit and Discharge the said William Hall h is Heirs & Assigns for ever Hath given granted Bargained sold aliend enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these Presents Doth fully Clearly and Absolutely give grant Bargain sell alien Enfeoffe and Confirm unto the Said William Hall his Heirs and Assigns for ever All that Tract or Parcel of Land Called Batchellors Harbour lying in Frederick County Beginning at a bounded White Oak standing near a small Draught of Bush Creek and on the North Side of said Creek and running thence North thirty five degrees West seventy six perches south sixty four Degrees West seventy perches South fourteen degrees East thirty Perches south Twelve degrees West fifty six perches South Thirty five degrees West thirty Eight perches South thirty four degrees East Eighty perches North Eighty four degrees East Thirty four Perches South Seventy Eight Degrees East thirty six perches North fifteen degrees East thirty four perches North fifty degrees East sixty perches North Eleven degrees East Thirty Perches North thirty four degrees East Twenty Eight perches North sixty seven Degrees West thirty six perches south forty four degrees West One hundred & thirty Eight perches then by a streight line to the beginning Tree Containing and now laid out for One hundred and two Acres of Land more or Less together with all and singular the Premisses and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise Appurtaining To have and To hold the said Tract or parcel of land aforesaid together with all and singular the Premisses and Appurtainances unto the said William Hall his Heirs and Assigns for ever to the only Proper Use and Behoof of him the said William Hall his Heirs & Assigns for ever And the said Thomas |
