262 Belonging unto the said Edw.d Dorsey Sen.r his Heirs and Assigns forever from all Person or Persons whatsoever from by or under me my Heirs or Assigns In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this nineteenth day of March Anno Domini 1764 Edw.d Dorsey Jun.r seal Signed Sealed and Delivered in Presence of us Eph Howard John Burgess Jun.r On the back of the above was thus Written Viz.t Received March the 19 1764 the Consideration Specified in the within Deed P me Edw.d Dorsey Jun.r Test Ephoward On the 19.th of March 1764 Came Edward Dorsey Jun.r before us two of his Lordships Justices of the Peace for Ann Arundel County and Acknowledged the within Deed and Land therein mentioned to be Right and Estate of the within named Edw.d Dorsey Sen.r his Heirs and Assigns forever According to the Act of Assembly in Case made and Provided and the same day Came Deborah Dorsey the Wife of the said Edward Dorsey and ^being^ Privately examined According to Law According to Law Acknowledged her Right and Dower to the within Mention Land to be the Right and Estate of the within named Edw.d Dorsey Sen.r his Heirs and Assigns forever without any fears or threats from her Husband Ephoward John Burgess Jun.r 1764 April 10.th Received of M.r Edw.d Dorsey two shillings Sterling for the use of the Lord Baltimore being the Alienation fine on the within Fifty Acres of Land by Virtue of a Commission from Edw.d Lloyd Esq his said Lordships Agent and Receiver General Benj.a Beall 4 1/2 s.d Recorded the 10.th day of April 1764 |
