255.

       Robert Davidge for and in Consideration of the Yearly Rent Covenants Clauses
       and Agreements herein after mentioned on the Part and behalf of the said Cornelius
       Garretson and Nathaniel Waters their Executors Administrators and Assigns to be Paid
       done kept and Performed Hath demised granted and to farm letten and by these
       Presents Doth demise grant and to farm let unto them the said Cornelius Garretson
       and Cecelia Nathaniel Waters their Executors Administrators and Assign all
       that Beach of Sand being Part of a Tract of Land lying in Ann Arundel County
       aforesaid called Thomas's Point and which is contained within the following
       lines Distances and Boundaries to wit Begining at a Locust Post standing
       on the Shore of Fishing Creek and running thence South West ninety
       three Feet to a Locust Post on the Shore of South River Thence North two hundred
       and Sixty feet with South River Then North east Sixty feet to the Mouth of
       Fishing Creek and then with said Creek to the Begining Locust Post Containing
       and laid out for fifteen Thousand one hundred and forty seven Square feet more
       or Less   To have and to hold one undivided Moiety of the said Beach of Sand
       hereby Leased or intended so to be to him the said Cornelius Garretson his Executors
       Administrators and Assigns and To have and to hold the other
       undivided Moiety of the said Beach of Sand to him the said Nathaniel Waters
       his Executors Administrators and Assigns from the day of the Date hereof for
       and during and untill the full end and Term of Ninety nine Years Yeilding
       and Paying therefore Yearly and every Year during the said Term
       unto the said Robert Davidge his Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns
       the Rent or sum of five shillings Sterling Money upon the twentieth day of
       March Yearly and the said Cornelius Garretson and Nathaniel Waters for
       themselves and each of them their and each of their Heirs Executors Administrators
       and Assigns Do hereby Covenant Grant and Agree to and
       with the said Robert Davidge his Heirs Executors Administrators & Assigns
       in Manner and form Following that is to say That they the
       said Cornelius Garretson and Nathaniel Waters their Executors Administrators
       or Assigns Yearly and every Year during the said Term of Ninety
       nine Years shall and will well and Truly pay or Cause to be Paid to
       the said Robert Davidge his Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns
       on the said Twentieth Day of March the said Yearly Rent or sum
